    I am filing a formal complaint against **** ****** of Local City Places for failure to deliver on a paid agreement and refusal to refund my money as promised.On March 24, 2025, I paid Mr. ****** $742.50 via ******* for participation in a business opportunity he described as fully operational within 30 days with more than enough merchants on standby. My payment was made for marketing for the businesses to generate ********** of today, over two months later, nothing has been deliveredno merchants into my account, no services have been delivered to myself or the merchants, and no agreement posted as stated in several emails from him. I followed up and requested a status update, then a refund. I was initially told I would hear from his attorney with a release letter and timeline to expect my *********. ****** also stated clearly in writing that anyone who wants to be released can just ask and will be fully refunded. I reached out for an update and have been met with silence for another week. This is unacceptable and misleading.I am seeking a full refund of $742.50.

    Wow. I have never before dealt with such unethical, fraudulent, and morally revolting business practices in my adult life. Unfortunately, there truly is a first time for everything.If only I could turn back the hands of time, I would undoubtedly avoid CityPressMedia.com **** Local City Places at all costs, as they now reside in my mind rent-free for about 5 months thus far, until I fully recoup my funds from their dishonest practicesall $495 down to the ***** (maybe more now that the court system may be involved). Their blatant disregard for dates and contract terms, which they themselves outlined in their own agreements, is absolutely astonishing. There is no communication to be had with any of their employees, and both **** ******, their CEO, and ***** *****, their Senior Vice President, repeatedly ignore all emails requesting that they honor their contractual obligations. Phone calls go unanswered, and none of their many contact numbers yield a response.I am someone who often gives the benefit of the doubt and understands that businesses may face operational challenges requiring necessary adjustments. This is why it took me some time to recognize their unlawful practicesI initially assumed their failure to comply with terms and agreements was a temporary hurdle that would be resolved in due-time. However, their continued silence in response to my emails tells me otherwise.This review marks my firstand hopefully lastnegative review of any company I have dealt with in my entire life. I consider myself fortunate never to have experienced such frustration with any other business before. At the very least, this distressing and distasteful experience may allow me to be exposed to the justice system firsthand, rather than merely through media consumption.
