    On July 25th Firefly Electric was hired to replace the Electric service panel at my home at *****************************************During the instillation Firefly Electric blew three transformers, and my air-conditioned fan motor. One of the transformers was my air-conditioner. The other two transformers was for my low voltage wiring. When I complained to *************************, the owner, he first denied the damage then he asked me for the air-conditioner bill so he could submit it to his insurance company for reimbursement. He also said that he was unfamiliar with my homes low voltage wiring, and unsure he could repair it.We were without lighting in our living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry, hallways and porch, for FIVE MONTHS.I complained to the ************************** who told me that he had not filed for a permit for the meter replacement, and that since I had it replaced by ************* they were out of the loop.**** finally came through and in January, only one set of lights has not been repaired. He said at that time he would finish the repairs and repay my expenses in one month. Neither the unfinished work or the reimbursements have been completed to date.The cost of labor and parts I paid to **** Air was $680.00, the expense would have been much higher but a lot of the damage was covered by the air-conditioner warranty. Firefly also unlocked a breezeway gate, and lost the key, the locksmith cost me $ ******. I am also requesting reimbursement for the meter instillation of $4,600. I think this reimbursement is justified considering that I was without lighting for five months, and the job is still not finished almost a year later. The total reimbursement I am asking for is $5,458. I will hire a different electrician to finish ****** job.

    I was hired to replace a sub-panel.  After replacing the sub-panel, for some reason the transformer for both analog lighting controls fried. But cause of the age of the control panel(appx 40)years old it was very difficult to figure out.  I have resolved the issue.  Another contractor was called out to replace the sub panel, something compatible with Genrac generators.  I also have noticed another contractor was called out because the wires had not been left the way I left them.  As far as I know, everything was working when left, especially considering multiple contractors were called to address the problem
