Worst experience ever!! Took $20K and ghosted us.My husband and I wanted to remodel our primary bathroom completely. Our shower was leaking, and we could see the black mold warping the walls. We had a few contractors come to give us a quote and ultimately decided to go with *************************** and Roadrunner Installation, located in ********, *******. He gave ** an estimated time of 4 weeks to complete. To make a long story somewhat short:****** told us that he was an unlicensed contractor but worked with a licensed contractor. This was a lie. I believed ******, but according to the workers who came to our house, ****** owns Roadrunner installation. No other licensed contractor is associated with the companystupid me for trusting another human to be truthful. Once the demo was completed, there would be WEEKS where NO ONE SHOWED UP TO WORK. Out of six weeks, someone showed up to work maybe five or six days. ****** would not answer his phone calls or text messages when we tried to get updates. Multiple times ****** did not bring the materials or supplies needed when his employees came to work, so they just turned around and went home. ****** unloaded the tile we ordered from ********** in our backyard on the grass under the sun, rain, monsoons, and sprinkler systems. The tile sat there for at least three weeks before someone came to install it. When the men came to install it, the tile was warped and unusablethousands of $$ down the drain. We were told that the entire remodel project would take four weeks. We were at the six-week point, and very little was done except the demolition and minor plumbing.Given the multiple setbacks, delays, and mistruths, we decided to cut our losses and end our contract. We had given ****** over $20,000 when we signed our contract. According to the agreement between demo, plumbing, etc., he probably spends about $8,000 **** I called him for a refund, and he lied about refunding it - I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY BACK!
