    Gifted Hands, specifically ******** and An-jel, begin very polite and complimentary to get the clients, and then once you have signed the contract their true behaviors come out. They invoice with no itemized charges or categories, just one lump sum per week. They say it includes taxes, a 3.5% processing fee, and overtime charges along with regular hourly charges. Their caregivers never receive the time and a half money they earn from working. When approached, they hesitate in responding, make excuses, or try to **** the explanation off on the other person in the business. We spent a total of $17,337.00 for services, and the caregiver received only $6,720.00 of that money at an hourly rate way below the rate the company charges per hour. My spouse is a payroll manager, and these practices definitely go against payroll and tax guidelines. The comments they make to clients has a tone that is discriminatory and completely unprofessional. They are a company to avoid, and the extra money they have collected should rightfully go to the caregiver who did all the work. I want to see the caregiver we had during this time, who worked days and nights exclusively, to receive the money deserved for her work, which is the money we paid. Ethically, this needs to be rectified and therefore I am registering this formal complaint.

    Hi, I have read the complaint and Im completely floored with the allegations of my being unprofessional. Never once have we had a conversation where myself nor anyone from my team were rude or unprofessional. I own and operate a business you hired a business an agency and NEVER once in your complaint have you stated your mom was not taken care of in the manner you expected. My caregivers are not hired under any false pretense they sign paperwork just like the clients. Therefore, I dont think its appropriate for you to question how and when I pay my caregivers as long as the service you ask for us to perform was given. Is it that Im African American young owner that you feel you need to question my ability to run a great company ? Because I have several messages from you stating how wonderful we are especially since we stepped in at such a trying time for your mom. This is SLANDER and I will be speaking to my attorney because I have not once came after you for hiring my caregiver when you clearly signed a contract and Im my clause it states you are not to approach nor attempt to hire my caregiver for at least 6 months. My clients and caregivers are very happy with the service and support I give therefore I will not get upset with you Ill pray for you. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM GIFTED HANDS.
