I'm no *****, so for me to write a scathing review, it means your business is really bad.The service department at AutoNation Honda is rotten to the core. They need to completely disassemble it and start from scratch. We've had three negative incidents with them, the most recent this morning.Made an appointment two weeks ago to fix a recall issue with my Civic, after Honda HQ sent me a letter saying parts are available, make an appointment with your local dealership. Show up at 7am this morning for the appointment and they tell me, "we don't have the parts." So I ask, why would you all make an appointment if you don't have the parts? The "customer service" *** says "well, you called a central service center somewhere that doesn't know what is going on." I told him that I called the number on their website. And, regardless, wouldn't they here in Chandler verify they have the parts to support appointments on the books. So the dude just dismissed me, said parts will be in December and walked away. No apologies, no admitting they messed up. Dude couldn't care less. That's an indicator of their culture in this dealership, at least in the service department. After filing a complaint with Honda corporate, I get a call from the service manager who leaves me a voicemail and says "call me at my direct line XXX-XXX-XXXX" to discuss the recall appointment issue. When I call that line, it goes to an automated service that allows you no options to either speak with anyone or leave a message. So it's an endless loop that gets you nowhere. And to top it off, later that morning I get an email from the dealership, from the same person that checked me in, ****** *********, essentially implying you didn't make your appointment, so call us to reschedule. What they all these digitally automated systems that are very disjointed, and their attitude at the dealership is "we don't care."AutoNation Honda Chandler

Thank you for sharing your review with us. AutoNation truly appreciates you taking the time to give us your feedback as we are always looking to improve, and your feedback enables us to do so. The management team attempted to contact the customer to resolve their concerns, but have not heard back.
Thank you.

1 starThis location has went downhill post-covid. In April 2024 I took my 2023 Honda Accord EX Turbo to AutoNation Honda, Chandler, AZ for an oil change and tire ******************* In July 2024 I begin hearing a scraping sound coming from underneath front of vehicle. I did some research and concluded the technician made a mistake and that is why oil plate begin to scrape the ground. I take it back to see what issue is in July 2024. I explain to advisor the issue and I have only had service done here, and no service done anywhere else since oil change. Advisor looks as if what I am telling him is doubtful. They examine the vehicle and advisor comes and verbally apologized and said it's their fault. He went on to say there were two screws missing on oil plate and that's why it was scraping on the ground. The advisor said he never saw this before. They put two new screws in but did not replace oil plate that was dragging for weeks. A few days after that my front wheels and axel make a grinding sound while driving. I took it back to AutoNation in August 2024. I tell advisor everything that has transpired. The advisor tells me it will take 4 hours to diagnose the issue. I said that is ridiculous, I have been coming here for about 9 years and have never been told 4 hours to see what issue is with the tires and undercarriage. I told him it shouldn't take 4 hours and I will go somewhere they actually care about customer *************** seems as though they do not care about customer satisfaction any longer. Especially, when it comes to issues their technicians have caused to customers vehicles. I do not advise any customer to get their vehicle serviced at that location. Horrible experience.Review fromChris F

1 starPurchased vehicle back in June and paid in full. Still no title months later. Cant register or drive the car. Nobody at the dealership will address this issue just transfer to random voicemails that never get returned. Called numerous times asked for the manager and can only get a voicemail. Fraudulent business practices to sell a vehicle without providing a title. Complaints filed with Arizona attorney generals office and Honda corporation.Review fromLynn C

1 starI had an awful experience today, 8/27/2024. The worst service experience *** ever had at any dealership. To keep it simple, I had an issue with my audio system in my 4 month old car. The car is obviously under bumper-to-bumper warranty still. The dealership kept my car for 8 hours, just to call me and tell me to come pick the car up because they couldnt replicate the issue. I disagreed with the service advisor for several minutes on the phone where he repeatedly tried to talk over me while being degrading and treating me like a child. He said he would have his manager talk to **** composed myself and went in person to speak to the manager. As soon as I sat down in his chair he tried to explain where the money is at for the dealership in terms of service profits. I dont care how you make your money. I just want my car fixed. He tried to set an appointment for me to bring my car back. I countered by saying just keep it until its done and give me a loaner car till then. I just need something to drive. He refused.I then began to verbally disagreed with his customer service skills citing the fact that Ive never had this issue at AutoNation Honda Chandler before, as Im on my second new vehicle purchased from them. To cut to the ****** the manager refused me service and told me to go to another dealership because they were done trying to diagnose my car.Review fromPeggy M

5 starsAfter reading all the bad reviews, I almost did not go to AutoNationHonda. I'm so glad I did! I had a great experience with them. ****** **** took great care of us! We had a brand new loaner car for about 3 weeks. Ended up that my 2016 Odyssey needed a new mother board. I expected that was the problem. Intermittent electrical problems are HARD to catch and diagnose. On top of being treated like royalty, the lifetime warranty I purchased when I bought my van, paid for all the work and mother board. I did have a $100 deductable. I will return to *** for any and all my future vehicle repairs.Review fromAshley S

1 starI've had a terrible experience with the finance department with Autonation Honda.I purchased a car from AutoNation Honda on May 8, 2024 and after waiting for hours for finance portion, I was told that the computer systems were "down" and they'd be sending me my paperwork via email the very next morning. It was very late with my toddler so I figured that was safe and I could trust that I would receive it the very next day as promised. WRONG. Fast forward to July 5, 2024 nearly two months later and I have still NOT received the paperwork after reaching out and asking ********************* for it five times during that time period. I am currently driving around without plates and it's EXPIRED because I HAVE NOT RECEIVED my finance paperwork. It's been nearly two months and numerous and countless attempts I've asked him to send it over and NOTHING. He just ignores my requests and continues to send me random documents to sign. This is unacceptable and disappointing. You don't do business by doing customers wrong.Review fromSundar M

1 starI had a bad experience with the Honda chandler, I had visited for my Honda CRV 2020 oil change, and after the service, I found that the technician had broken the cabin lock box which is in the passenger seat. They did not inspect it in front of me or they did not talk about anything after the service but they wrote on the final paper back and they were claiming that it was already broken. The lady who represented this service is ******************, *************************, and when I was telling the issue she was rude and diverting that her manager talk to me. Later that day Manager *****( called me on my mobile accepted their mistake and agreed to replace the part, he asked me to wait for 15 days and would call you to repair it. I tried calling them and emailing them after 15 days hence no responses,I will wait for another 5 days for their response after this review or else I will have to proceed legally as I have recorded his conversation with ******************,********************Review fromVamsi R

1 starI had a disappointing experience with AutoNation Honda Chandler. In August 2023, I began my car shopping journey and eventually settled on a **** Honda CRV Sport-L ****** *** after lengthy negotiations. The Sales Manager initially quoted me a price just under 40k for *** vehicle, which included various fees and taxes. I agreed to this price, signed the quote, and the dealership placed an order for the vehicle in the second week of August, with an expected delivery in 4-6 weeks.Throughout the process, one of the salesmen provided regular updates. However, on September 15th, when I went to pick up the vehicle, I was hit with an unexpected surprise. They claimed that the quoted price was for a 2WD model, and because I wanted the *** version, the price would increase by $2200. Despite extensive discussions, they refused to honor the original quote. This bait-and-switch tactic was frustrating and unprofessional. It left me with no choice but to pay the additional amount if I wanted the vehicle. I would not recommend this dealership due to their lack of transparency and integrity.Review fromLouise R.

1 starExtremely poor customer service on used vehicle. Purchase was made, but private auto service center found major service requirements ($3200 worth!) that were not expressed to us at the time of purchase. A return visit to seek repair of these components was not resolved. Employees treated us rudely. They promised call backs, and not once did they return calls. They kept passing the buck about making a decision. Their final offer was worth about $100 (spark plugs and transmission fluids). We walked away. We will use our trusted service center to repair these issues. We will never deal with this company again. We liked the vehicle, otherwise we would have given it back to them.
