Date 2/14/2023 Reciept ****** **** with Mountain Park Plumbing, had repaired our shower handle last year. This morning the handle failed again. I called **** to come and see what the problem was. **** arrived and after taking my shower apart he told me they did not have the part to fix the problemhe would need to order it and return later to install. Further, **** informed me there would be 2 service calls fees of $145 each associated with this project. When I asked why there would be 2 service call charges of $145.00 for a single project he got EXTREMELY RUDE and raised his voice so much to the point it concerned my wife (who was in the house too). I paid his assistant ***** $145 by check and they left. **** followed up with an extremely rude text message. This level of ***************** behavior, and business practice of overcharging of a client is unacceptable.I expect **** and Mountain Park Plumbing to refund my payment of $145.00 as he did not quote me a price until the shower was taken apart and left inoperable.

That's an interesting telling of the story but not entirely what happened.  ********* is leaving out is that the problem he had with the shower meant that he had to turn the water to the house off because the water would not stop running out of the showerhead. When I got there I had to take the entire unit apart to get it fixed enough to get the water back on. This goes against what he says that I left him inoperable. I actually left him in better condition than when I got there.
This was an extremely busy day and I squeezed him into my schedule so I could get his water turned back on to the house. Upon arrival he did not ask for a quote as he was just happy i got there so quickly.  Once I got the water back on aand told him I would have to order a cartridge and come back and that there would be a separate service call for the separate trip he got mad and became unreasonable.  Right or wrong I raised my voice as well.  Sure I got upset, as he treated me like a thief after I went out of my way to help him.  I do not like people who try to cheat me out of my labor.  As for the so-called rude text, this is what I sent to him after I left.  You make the call.

"I squeezed you into my schedule today so I could get your water back on to the house. I was able to figure out a way to do that and now you want me to do a free visit to come back and put the actual cartridge in after I order it for you. My time is not free. And I did not have to squeeze you in today but I did.  **** tells me you're going to call somebody else for the second half. *arewell."

Doesn't seem rude to me, just seems straight to the point.
As for overcharging customers, that's ridiculous.  Look at my record on the Better Business bureau. 23 years with zero complaints.
Bottom line is that Mr * doesn't appreciate that as a business I have to charge enough to keep the lights on.
