White Fig Homes, LLC was the investor, owner/realtor and seller for the home I purchased with an FHA loan, close date of 10/14/2022. Original close date was intended to be 10/7/2022 until major undisclosed issues were discovered. All closing documents were signed at Security Title, I proceeded to go turn on my utilities with the city when we discovered there was a septic tank instead of public sewer. White Fig failed to discover the septic tank and posted their listing on FLEXMLS as a public sewer home until my home closed on 10/14. In a scramble to contact the county to prevent registry of my ownership, we had to push the original close date of 10/7 to 10/14 so that Whit Fig could lawfully have the septic tank inspected and repaired. All seemed well after the the septic was inspected and we moved forward with closing on 10/14. On the second close date, it was discovered that a shared sink drain pipe between the master and guest bathroom was completely broken in half, sending gallons of water into the walls and carpet of my master bedroom. I hired The Plumber of AZ company to investigate the water damage and source the leak. At this point, I want to mention that White Fig was open to repair the damages after hiring my own plumber and providing the invoice to White Fig. White Fig hired ***************** company to assess and fix the mold, dry wall and carpet. Lotus identified high levels of Asbestos and performed abatement on the master bdrm. White Fig potentially risked the lives of their contractors as they did not perform abatement when the home was remodeled. It took me 5 weeks from close date to be able to step into my home only to discover the carport ceiling had been collapsing in on itself and not supported by any attic/roof beams. The home is not up to FHA requirements on close date and potentially hazardous if any further demo needs to be completed because of asbestos.
