Saw an artist online from this shop&stalked their social media for 7m before making an appt to get something for our anniversary. I sent my reference photo. I have little flash tattoos so not super well versed in planning process for a large custom piece such as this. But familiar w aftercare since I do have 3 tattoos&get my eyebrows every 6 months. According to others she should have been communicating w me about the design when it got closer. I didn't see anything til I drove 2h day of. She changed the flowers because she didn't want to copy. Fair. But I'm not one to make ***** decisions&could have looked up some things to supply had I known. She picked flowers that were lemon flowers&they looked alright. I asked her if they would have the general style&look as the photo. She assured me yes. It definitely doesnt. I cry everyday looking at it. It's on my arm so I can't not see it. The line work is shaky, shading has faded drastically. The flowers look childlike. Definitely not realistic. paid $840. I spent 70% of 1 whole paycheck on this&don't feel it's worth that honestly. She needs more practice&comes off like she's a prodigy online. Be humble. If you can't do a certain style, say so. We trust you as artists&these are permanent. Now I have to fix this&I didn't budget for that. I talked to the artist&owner. they're gaslighting me about the condition. The owner went on to write 3 paragraphs about his awards, conventions etc., saying he had oral ************* had to come in to "deal with me". as if I put this tattoo on myself & making it about himself. Other artists said There is not much to be done about the flowers if I don't like them except to remove them. I paid 840 & my consult said I would need to pay 800 to remove & then who knows how much to rework. This just turned into 2k-3k. ********************************** is seriously lacking. Instead of taking everything personally, set aside pride &ego to learn new things &improve. I'm really disappointed.
