    Buyer Beware! This company sells expired products and then refuses to take them back,I purchased 4 tubs Mapei FlexColor 3D - Pre-Mixed Grout - 1/2-Gallon Select Color:202 FROSTED GLASS When the product arrived my tiler with 20 years experience had told me he had worked with Mapei grout in the past but never this 3D grout, so he said he would work up a mock tile board to see how the grout sets up and dries. Well the 1st mock up board that he grouted remained soft and wet after 10 ******* he decided to do a 2nd board on day 3 of the 1st boards drying time. This time he allowed the grout to remain open for 30 minutes to thicken up, it did set up a bit firmer but still after a week you can insert your finger nail into the grout. I contacted the business about the grout being defective along with a video and photos of the results. The tried to tell me it would be fine, and I should just use it or I could return the 3 unopened tubs for a refund but I had to pay the return shipping. Once they got the product back and inspected it, I would be refunded. I asked for a pre paid shipping label as this product is defective and their web site clearly spells out their shipping policy and says to call first and get an authorization to return, I wasn't even given an authorization # to return??? This is not an acceptable grout for a master shower that will be used daily by 2 people. I contacted the ***** company and was put in touch with... ****** ******* | LEED Green Associate |Technical Product Support Supervisor ****** was great she told me to look for a coding on the container which contains the date the product was made, turns out not a single one of my 4 containers have this sticker code on them! ****** said most likely this company is buying expired product and reselling them.I just want a full refund and label to return! The co has not told me who their Mapei *** is.
