On June 25th 2024, I was forced to pay $486 for repairs that I did not agree to have repaired in order to get my car released. On June 21st 2024 I got my car towed to the shop to get a diagnostic on the problems it was having. A couple days later I received a text from the Mechanic saying that he had figured out what the problem was and how much it would be for the repairs. I texted him back with only a simple acknowledgment and proceeded to ask him other questions about other things that were wrong with the car. He stated (one thing at a time). The next time we texted, he said that he had repaired the vehicle already. So instead of going back and forth with him over text, I decided to go into the shop location. When I got to the mechanic shop to talk to him about him repairing the vehicle without me agreeing to the price and the repairs, He said that by me texting him back and acknowledging the conversation after he told me the price was me telling him it was Okay to repair the vehicle. I told him that I wanted to only get the vehicle diagnosed on what the issue was, and to only get a price quote for the repairs. At the end I was force to pay the fees that was illegally charged without my permission or agreement. In order to receive my car back
