I was told to take it to the ** dealer to get the two codes removed. Informed that they checked the codes and found nothing wrong and the dealer is the only one to keep the check engine light off. After going to ** they said codes are valid and wanted 2400 to fix.  I have never hired a company to fix my car to have to take it to another company to complete the fix. Also thinking if codes were not present at the start of the fix but there after, isnt is reasonable to think the mechanic messed the car up during the fix?

This vehicle came in on a tow truck not running, with the following customer complaint WHILE DRIVING, C.E.L. ON, SPUTTERS & BLACK SMOKE EXHAUST  we provided a diagnostic service and the tech found the following. Oil in the throttle body, oil to the intake and in the turbo with no oil showing on the dipstick. After pulling codes from the computer and inspection of the Turbo, he found that the impeller for the turbo was damaged and a code that was turbo related, he also pulled a code for Coolant temp and Oil pressure, the customer was informed that we had to start with the Turbo and he authorized the work, after the turbo had been replaced and the vehicle running, the coolant temp and oil pressure codes were still present, at this time we recommended taking the vehicle to the dealership for further diagnosis of the two codes that we could not get further info on.
