    On 2/5/2025, I contracted with this supplier to reupholster the seats in my car. A $500 deposit was paid at that time. The material was ordered and I paid for that on 2/21 in the amount of $1282.81.The project went into production on 2/23/2025 when the vendor came to my home to pickup the seats.On 3/7, I went to the shop to check on progress. They had completed 1 seat and upon inspection, found that they had sewn the leather pieces incorrectly - not properly lining up the seams so they would meet and an embroidered logo on the headrest was off cente, not aligned with the rest of the seat. At this point, I rejected their work and they stated they would have to redo the project.On 3/14, I inspected the seats again and found similar problems including 1 section of the seat had a blemish on the leather of the passenger seat. This was presumed to due to a assembly mistake but the vendor claimed it was part of the leather. I verified with the manufacturer that the leather left their shop unblemished. But given this leather came from a cow, it could have concevaibly been caused from hitting a barbed wire fence. That said, the vendor chose to use this blemished piece of leather to complete the seat although there was more than a half of a hide remaining that he could have cut out an unblemished piece.I spoke to the vendor on 3/14 and he stated he would charge me another $300 to fix his mistake.This is unsatisfactory and in addition to the blemished piece, the individual seat pieces are still sewn out of alignment. You'll see in attached photos.Since this vendor appears not to have the desired expertise to reupholster seats properly, I am requesting a refund for the entire project including the material due to having to redo the seats 2 times and it is still not correct.
