    To Whom It May Concern, I am filing a formal complaint against Empire Ink Tattoo due to the highly unsanitary and unprofessional conditions I experienced during a recent visit to their establishment. The environment and practices at this shop were not only unacceptable but also raised significant health and safety concerns that require immediate attention. Upon entering the shop, we encountered five unleashed and uncaged dogs that charged at us and barked continuously. These dogs were not service animals and created an unsafe, chaotic atmosphere. The shop smelled overwhelmingly of urine and feces, and there were roaches present, which further emphasized the unhygienic conditions. Additionally, there were three toddlers running around in soiled diapers without shoes, along with a crib placed in the middle of the shop. The shop also had clothing racks and beds, suggesting that people were living on the premises, which is completely inappropriate for a professional business environment. The behavior and hygiene of the staff were equally concerning. A piercer named ****** performed a lip piercing while wearing dirty socks and unclean clothes. She appeared to have just gotten up from a bed on a couch located in the shop and proceeded with the procedure without washing her hands or following any sterilization protocols. Another male piercer, whose name I did not catch, performed a septum piercing incorrectly, displaying a lack of knowledge of basic anatomy, which I only realized after experiencing significant issues. To make matters worse, when we considered leaving, a male staff member stood behind us in a way that felt intimidating, making us uncomfortable and as though we were being prevented from exiting. The combination of unsanitary conditions, unprofessional conduct, and improper training is not only alarming but also a potential public health risk. Such practices are unacceptable for a tattoo and piercing establishment. I have multiple witnesses.

    Dogs running around the entire shop where there are open needles and piercing guns being used no sanitation at all. There is f**** and pee all over the floor. Old food bags everywhere trash everywhere. Artists do not wash their hands or Sanitize the area they are tattooing. There have been multiple staph infections from reused tattoo needles. I have witnessed the artists using meth in the bathroom and then tattooing. The owners Sysco and ***** are either high or drunk and tattoo. The owner ***** has physically assaulted his wife in front of customers including myself. I Have also witnessed the owner Sysco call a black man the n word when he confronted him for not telling him about his seizures.

    My two friends and I all got a matching tattoo. We also had infections for two weeks and had to get antibiotics. All of our tattoos are spotty and look 20 years old. None of them are filled in. They are only ouli es of Mickey ****** nothing complicated. They look worse then prison tattoos or homeade tattoos. We were also given no aftercare or directions on what to do. The same need was used on all 3 of us.I contacted the shop after the tattoos were healed snd showed spotty and not filled and never received a response. We were charged $150 each/ $450 total for the three tattoos. The shop was also so filthy. I requested a refund to get them redone at a reputable shop. We do not want to come back and get redone because we felt the experience was terrifying being that we all were infected. Our tattoos were done by ***** who did not wear gloves and was on her phone the whole time. It was really unsanitary there. I just didnt know any better but now i do and i have learned.We also got piercings for $15 per piercing. I got two and my friends got one each. They all were infected as well. we received no aftercare for those as well. We do not have our piercings anymore. This i did not ask for a refund because they are not permanent damage to My body that is horrifying and embarrassing looking.
