Spoke to *** the owner from this shop. Asked if he could help me out with a car shield claim because my truck broke down. It was back and forth with car shield. Long story short they denied the claim after around 3-4 weeks. I asked *** to please get me an estimate so I can repair my broken down truck as an estimate was not provided to me. June 25th at 11:42am I get an estimate for what my truck needs(my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel. *** professionally explains what it needs and went over cost. I told him I would need to talk it over with my spouse as it is an amount over $5,000.00. Two days go by I called him asking if he can only do the transmission service and replace the transfer case replacement as I do not have enough for the rear drive shaft and I would have it towed out. He said sure and went over the cons of it. Asked him if financing was available. He offered me financing. On 7/3 I filled out the financing paperwork. At 5:31am 7/3 I sent the business email the approval screenshot with the approval ID number that says on there to provide to the business. This was sent over. No one got back to me that day. The next day was 7/4, shop was closed. On 7/8/24 around 8:10am *** the owner leaves me a voicemail stating to call him back as soon as possible. Within 5 mins I gave him a call back. Very rude, unprofessional, & yelling at me that why have I not deposited him money into his bank account. Goes off saying that I am s******* him over and he does not like me. He states that he wont do the work for around $2,850 that I authorized to do. I asked to please help me with my repair. He said no that he is charging me $1,100 for storage fees and that he wont release my truck unless I pay these fees. I dont understand how any one can talk to someone like he did to me. He curses, talks over you, everything he told me was uncalled for. *** the owner of Accu-brake 4x4 is trying to come up with unethical money and seems like he is trying to steal my 2008 Dodge ram 2500.

We have had ******************** vehicle here since May 17th. It started out as an extended warranty claim. After about six weeks, of back and forth between American Car Shield and myself, I was informed by the warranty company that his policy was canceled due to some type of fraud. That was **** 26th.  **************** was informed of this on **** 11th by American Car Shield and failed to contact me so we could make other arrangements. On July 1st., I called **************** and told him I would need $1000.00 deposit to begin work. He told me he was driving and would call me back within the hour with the deposit. On July 8th after no response from ****************, I called him again and informed him that since he could not be trusted to do what he had promised, that we were unwilling to move forward with this repair and he would have to make arrangements to remove his vehicle. We have the documentation from the warranty company to confirm that this is true. The storage charges are based on a fraction of the actual time that the vehicle has been stored in our secure storage lot.

Dishonest mechanicspaid over $11,000 for warranty work and the truck blew up not even a month later and they refuse to fix it or refund my money. They also admitted to over charging me as well as having multiple lube techs working on my truck instead of an actual Diesel mechanic but yet charge me diesel mechanic rates?! This shop is stealing from hard working individuals. Shame on them!

*************************************** is NOT the vehicle's owner. *Truck: highly modified, recently purchased, no documented repair history available to us.  Customer warned in advance of possible/likely future failures given the above.  *In business 30 years, for 20+ years we serviced **************************'s (********* former husband) personal & business vehicles until his untimely death this year.  She seemingly did not consider us "dishonest" then. *$11,000.00 was roughly total cost of repairs including cylinder head gasket replacement, turbo charger, many attendant parts.  Final invoice detailed remaining problematic issues with engine that customer opted not to address but was advised about.  The only "warranty" work was completed weeks later due to coolant loss.  The recent interactions came when someone (not the owner) called, said the engine was out of coolant.  The complaint was NOT that "the truck blew up".  We scheduled a warranty examination for *** 20.  We've never "refused to fix it". *We did refund the customer a small amount for a gasket that was both included in a kit and billed separately on the invoice...small oversight WE found, was addressed. *We don't employ "lube techs."  The technician who did the work has been employed here for 20+ years, has extensive experience on **** 6.0L diesel engines, including shop owned vehicles with this engine. *Her deceit is illuminated in what transpired AFTER we scheduled the warranty inspection for the 20th.  Then she called, proceeded to curse me.  I said I would not continue the conversation if she continued to curse me.  She continued, I hung up. *The owner of the vehicle called and threatened to "come down there" and "I'm a convicted felon and not afraid to go back."  We called the police, reported the threat.  Apparently the customer, regretting his approach, called the police himself and confessed his behavior.  ********** called to inform us of this and advised he was being charged with disorderly conduct.

Your right I don't personally own the truck, but that didn't stop you from taking my credit card for full payment. I was very clear when I said fix the truck 100% before it leaves that shop. It was there for almost 2 months. That should have been plenty of time to properly fix every code. Regardless, if we didn't get a whole new motor, the codes that the truck was throwing were easy things that you should have been fixed. The fact that my husband used your services a half a dozen times does not negate the fact that if you would have sent him home with the half a** job you sent us with, his opinion would definitely change. Large successful shops that have it together, assign one single mechanic to your car and only that mechanic works on it to prevent not knowing who did what and ensuring all the proper things get done! You not only had multiple people working on it, but you also allowed techs who were not diesel mechanics to work on the vehicle yet charged diesel mechanic prices! We also caught you overcharging us (which still has NOT been refunded) nor would you have said anything if we didn't bring it to your attention.  A service was paid for and warrantied but not honored after breaking and yes after bringing the truck in multiple times (One of the times because you admitted a tech didn't clamp down the coolant hose) So yes, at this point I requested that your shop pay for a tow as it was the right thing to do.  The specific part of the motor that Flagstaff 4x4 worked on was under warranty and blew up well before the 12,000-warranty. I have already reached out to our attorneys and will be seeking full reimbursement for the work attempted, though not properly completed by a certified diesel mechanic.

And just an FYI No one got charged with disorderly conduct as no such thing occurred. The *** officer was a family friend helping us. We honestly just had him call you so we can have everything documented for the attorney. :)
