This was a continuing education course for physical therapists purchased on May 31, 2024. Name of the Course: DIN-3B Advanced Dry Needing for Sports Injury, Recovery, and Performance. Course Instructor: ***********************************: Institute of Manual and Integrative Therapy Course date was August ***** 2024 Purchase cost $724.00 At the completion of the course, participants are given a certificate of completion in order to submit for continuing education hours required for the profession. In my case, I need this certificate for 3 reasons:1. Continuing education hours due every 2 years set by the American Physical Therapy Association. 2. Reimbursement from my company for the cost of the course which is a benefit offered through my company. 3. To submit to the ************************* Therapy in order to perform Dry needling in the state of Georgia meeting their 50 hour requirement. It has been over 7 weeks since taking the course, and I still have not received the certificate. I have had only 2 messages of correspondence from the company despite multiple voicemails, text messages, and emails. The company has still not sent my certificate. I have taken several continuing education courses, and the completion certificate is typically sent or given on the same day or within 2-3 business days after taking the course. Waiting almost 2 months after a course is extremely excessive. Not having this certificate to submit to the GA physical therapy board significantly impedes my ability to perform my job as a licensed physical therapist.
