  When looking for a restoration company to fix my bathroom/ hallway that flooded and had severe water damage I talked to several companies within the area. Preferred Choice showed extreme professionalism from the initial call to the completion of the project. Obviously with insurance, it becomes a complex issue but they helped to take the stress off of me and took care of most things on their end. ***** and her team were timely in their responses to me and answered any questions I had, and trust me I had a lot! These are the type of people you are happy to recommend to your friends, family, and neighbors.

  After much consideration, I wholeheartedly recommend Preferred Choice Restoration and Preferred Choice Construction. Even though there were mistakes and missteps along the way, at every problem they were able to resolve it and complete the repairs to my satisfaction. I want to acknowledge ***************************** for the hard work he did, overseeing the repairs to my bathroom and bedroom. Even when things did not go right, in the end he got everything right. Water damage is never fun, but knowing there is a company with uncompromising standards for quality and thoroughness, makes everything so much better.

  Preferred Choice was called out to our home to help with water damage. From what I understand, the wife runs their emergency clean up side. Husband runs the contracting side. We were supposed to have someone come out and take levels of moisture determining carpet replacement, flooring, etc. They took one, and didnt take their other two readings. Stating that it was still wet, and there was no point in doing it. Nothing moved for about 1.5 weeks. No information, no nothing. Strange over communications about how they had to hire a new scheduler because their past one got a job at ****** without telling them. Then they had to hire an insurance litigator for thousands. Just really weird excuses, and information that wasnt our business nor problem. We were told from the get go that we could contract out separate providers for cabinets, and potentially flooring. Upon reaching the restoration side, we were told that was not true. That they were the only ones who did it. We tried asking several times about ITEL reports for the flooring which we were told by the initial representative (wifes side who handles flooding?) that they would send it in ASAP. Only to be told that now they werent looking to replace the carpet but attempt to clean and repad it. Then, they would send to ITEL once they received down payment. Our insurance also gave us $18k to replace cabinets that were fubard but the company was convinced they could caulk them and put them back in. $18k is far more than enough to get new cabinets. When questioned they basically stated we had too large a deductible and were too much of a risk to take on. Not answering the questions but instead blaming it on our financial situation. Their tax structure is also strangely set up so you pay the additional tax since they are not an exempt company. I could keep going but I am beyond thankful we dodged a bullet and went with another company. Upon meeting with other companies, this was no where near a normal experience.

  I Used this restoration company and I was very impressed. I have used other companies in the past and didnt have much luck finding a company that I felt comfortable with . Preferred choice was so thorough, honest and knew exactly what they were doing. It seems they train their employees well and they really seem to care about the customer.
