Subject: Demand for Refund of payment made as no Services were performed By AD Landscape ********************************************* LLC/ ******* **********,We are writing to formally address the issue regarding the landscaping services we contracted with this company on 2/8/2025. We paid a deposit of $1500 on 2/17/2025 for new landscaping Install at **************************************. To date, the work has not been performed, no materials were delivered, and we have not received any communication regarding a reasonable timeline for completion. Also, business has refused to respond to phone calls, text messages and emails ****** per our agreement and good business practices, we expect a full refund in the amount of $1500 for failure to complete the work within the agreed-upon timeframe. I had a a&d landscape my backyard. They installed astro turf plants and lighting. They installed the AstroTurf incorrectly causing multiple lines and the turf unsecured in some areas. Put in half dead plants that I had to replace at my own cost. I stopped trying to reach the owner because he was unresponsive. 7 months later I received a call from a company that works with their online advertising. They advised me that someone will come out to assess the situation and make repairs if possible. There was two employees that came out and advised me that the lines could not be fixed without replacing the entire area of turf but the company that they used does not warranty they're turf. The employee told me that he is not confident in laying new turf and not having the line come back. We talked about the process for laying it correctly but he said he is not confident enough to do that. The company also agreed to replace three of the plants that had died but planted the wrong plants that was agreed upon during the start of installation. I already replaced two trees, four cactus and two agave. I tried to be patient and reasonable with the owner but he just keeps making excuses and almost a year later nothing has been resolvedBusiness Response

On this project ****** ***** that works for my company talked with ***** about his issues. ****** came to agreement that if I added a area of grass and border and 6 plants in his front yard he would be happy and leave the back grass alone that we originally installed. So we did this work at no charge in his front yard. we also ***laced plants in the back yard, cleaned up his front and back yard, also had the turf company come look at it and they advised we remove the turf and reinstall it because he said the turf was fine. So we removed the turf made adjustments to the 40 ft of border and reinstalled the turf as the turf *** recommended. And again the homeowner said if we do this extra work in the front yard we didn't even need to do anything in the back well we did both front yard for free and back yard reinstall and ***lace dead plants as he asked us too. ****** and the turf *** both offered to give me written statements on confirming this is 100 accurate. On dead plants and trees. when we did this new work the trees where still alive. we put a 120 day warrenty on plants and trees. We ***laced them anyway we'll after warrenty time. We tried to make him happy and did all this extra work free of charge. ***** was a good person and ****** and my self did everything he asked and more to resolve this. Thank you.Initial Complaint

The job taken over a month and wasnt fully completed it was guaranteed by owner it will take 5 days starting September 24,2023 but they started beginning of October 2023 The first day was the only day they came bright and early and other days came when they wanted and left by 2 or 3pm. The total was *********. Before the start of the job, we given them $6,000 in a cashiers check with the agreement to do payments of ***** until the remaining ***** was satisfied. On October 19 we were promised the job would be completed this day. The workers were there all day to complete the job and the owner came by to check and guaranteed the job would be completed that day. The owner asked what type of palm tree we would like and we all agreed on a dwarf palm tree and the owner left. The afternoon of October 19,2023 completed a walk through and there was a section of gravel missing and no palm tree The planter still needed to be water proofed and the water lines needed to be added to the planter and for the plam tree, the entry gate was the wrong side and was sent back for the correct one. The main worker reassured he will be back Friday October 20,2023 as they were starting a new job near by our home. The main worker left the water proofing and the hinges to the gate on our patio table. Three weeks passed and no one communicated anything. A week prior to an inspection from the state to become a child provider home was November 7,2023 we text the owner to ask if materials were in, and he said yes they will be by 11/7/2023. We failed my inspection because of no entry gate and a safety issue for a child having access to the lake behind our house. We paid for more gravel out of our own pocket and paid for additonal materials and a gate to finish up our yard. So a promise of 5 days of completion turned into a job abandoned and no communication from anyone at A&Dlandscape. The remaining balance left is ***** which at this point we will not pay because we completed it ourselves.Business Response

on ******* ******, we did her entire back yard. She was 6000 short on money so we told them 1000 per 6 months Interest free. They agreed. At the end of the job we installed a gate we bought from *********** When we install this gate we realized it wasn't going to fit properly. So I returned the gate and hired a professional gate company to make it. I gave them my deposit and the said 2 weeks. We'll it took about 2.5 weeks. When it was done I tried to call and Schedule the install along with planting one **** and getting a ton of extra rock I was getting at no charge since I calculated wrong. The said no don't come we hired another company to do it with out letting me know. I said we'll ok. I'll take the custom gate to my yard and I'll pay whatever you paid him take ot off the *******. So we came to a agreement and I told them take off 1000 of your bill and start making payments after xmass. They agreed and we had a agreement everyone was happy. Since then they have made there payments on time and owe me 2 more payments to be 100 paid. *********************** the husband since then removed a bad review on ****** and said he would help me remove this one too. We did a very nice job for them and was a simple misunderstanding on the timeliness of the gate. But we are all happy now. Let me know if you need anything else from me or the millers. This man did not complete our yard. Please see previous pictures of incomplete yard.Attached are the photos of what his crew left and there is a picture of the ********** worker we paid for. The Millers wasnt short and this wasnt an attempt to not pay this man. This man worked out a payment plan after he sent voicemails of coming into our backyard and f****** up our backyard and taking every brick and things he put in our yard. We still have the voice recordings and will post them to BBB if required. We told him we will not pay him 6000 for a half way job. He was notified even when his worker did not show. I taken down the ****** review because the owner left a voicemail asking and pleading with my husband its hurting his business. We have to voicemail for that as well. We came to an understanding in December deducting ****************************************************************************************** December was paying him 1000.00month until paid off. I dont think the owner realizes I cannot take off a BBB post as its already posted. So in an attempt of this not being removed now he is spreading lies. We have proof of our receipts and text because we were always in contact with him. The money portion was already taken care of , however the lies is another thing and we should of kept the review on ****** because this man and his crew are shady.
