On 12/16/24 my warranty company had a plumber from Anytime services dispatched to our house to diagnose the issue with our Sump pump. When he arrived all he did was check to make sure it was getting power which it is and then he called the manufacturer of the Sump pump. The reason he called them is because I informed him that his company Anytime services installed it about a year ago. He was able to find the work order on his phone and it had pictures of the new pump that was installed. When he called the manufacturer they told him that he needed to take the pump out of the tank to diagnose what the issue is with it. After they told him that he said that he would be back on 12/18/24 because he was going to have to get tarps to put on the floor for when he pulled out the pump. I did not hear from him or Anytime services to schedule a time for him to come back on 12/18/24. I called on Anytime services on 12/18/24 and no one answered so I left a message. Next I called my home warranty company and explained what happened so they called Anytime services and the plumber lied. He told them we had a sewage ejector pump which home warranty company said they didn't cover it. However, we don't have a sewage ejector pump we have a Sump pump which I stated early the plumber even pulled photos of it from when they installed it. It got to the point I spoke to a supervisor with the home warranty on 12/19/24 and he was able to look at the previous claim to see Anytime services did install the Sump pump a year ago. He called Anytime services and they admitted that they plumber shouldn't have done what he did and they would be out to fix the issue. Anytime services finally called me on 12/26/24 and said someone would be out on 12/30/24 to fix the issue. On 12/27/24 I received a message from Anytime services saying the plumber called in sick and to call them back to reschedule. I called and no on answered as usual. Today is 12/31/24 and I still have not heard from Anytime services.Business Response

We are sub contracted through ************** Home Warranty, We installed a new sump pump the first time we were out there in November of 2023 and went back out to reassess the situation in December 2024. After reassessing the situation we found out there is indeed a sewer ejector pump which is not covered by First American with the homeowners policy. We submitted all photos and info to the home warranty.Initial Complaint

On Aug 30th Anytime Home Services was contracted by my home warranty company and they were scheduled to come between 11am to 5pm and the gentleman that showed up just looked into the bedroom and said he had no access and it wasn't a plumbing issue but rather an ac line issue and to just call the home warranty and let them know to send an ac guy to fix the leak. Fast forward 11 days later and this company has not submitted their "report" to my home warranty so the home warranty isn't willing to transfer the work order until they get in contact with Anytime Home services. I have myself repeatedly called them and nobody answers the phone to get a hold of someone to explain the situation. Very frustrated with this company.Business Response

So After looking into this claim, we did not bill the homeowner.
They had called and notified us that the services were no longer needed and it was AC unit. on 10.1.24. We were also told the Homeowner was going to make access for us to be able to confirm her statement of AC however we never ended up working the call because the homeowner stated it was ac and no longer needed plumber company. With that being said we could not call it into the warranty due to not running the call and give a report of what it actually was, per warranty standards. Not sure why she is wanting 125 from us but we did not bill her that amount. This is something she would need to take up with warranty

This company first came to repair our leaking shower as they were sent to me from my home warranty company FNHW. They did a great job at fixing the leaking shower head, by changing the cartridge in the wall. problem is next morning when we went to take a shower, the shower handle would only turn halfway, so you couldnt get to the hot water. Its winter. So I called them back and they said I needed to call my home warranty company back and go through them, since thats how they were hired. Fine I call my home warranty company and they send them back out. Tech takes the shower handle off, makes an adjustment of something and then puts the handle back on and now we can turn the handle all the way and get hot water again. Problem is they report to the home warranty company that there was no mechanical defect, so home warranty company wants to charge us 2nd trip charge of $75.00 I call Anytime back and dispatcher says theres nothing they can do. I explain to her that we had hot water before their tech came out to fix our leak. I explain their tech did something wrong and thats why we had to have him come back out. Dispatcher says theres nothing they can do. They already filed report with home warranty company and there wasnt a mechanical defect. I expect this company to call my home warranty company FNHW and admit they did something wrong and that it was their fault they had to come out a 2nd time. Thats all Im asking of this company.Business Response

Good morning, when we returned to the property there was no failure with the plumbing or the work we did. We did make an adjustment to the shower so that water would be hotter as requested. However the cartridge was installed properly and set at an anti scald setting which is what is recommended by the manufacturer. Any adjustments beyond that would be only at the customers request. Every home warranty has different stipulations for initial visits and return visits. Once the report has been submitted we are unable to change it. I understand your frustration but unfortunately you would need to dispute this with the home warranty as it is their policy. They are more than welcome to contact us for additional information as they see fit. When it comes to working with a home warranty they are the ones that decide how to handle every work order and report, we do not have any say in that matter. Hopefully you are able to contact them directly and have your concerns resolved through them. Thank you.Customer Answer

we were unable to access hot water after your technician installed the new cartridge. Setting to anti-scald is one thing, but not being able to access hot water is not reasonable. At the very least your technician should have asked do you want the access to hot water as you had previously. This would have eliminated the need for a 2nd visit and would have been reasonable. Simply saying you cant change the response to FNHW isnt reasonable. Call them and advice them that your technician changed our hot water setting and had to come back to change it back to where it was originally. That would resolve this entire complaint.Initial Complaint

I put in a call with my home warranty American Home Shield and I was assigned this company. I let them know I had a plugged up bathtub and soon after that I had a water leak as well. The water in the tub was still full with the leak and nothing had gone down. The plumber arrived and assessed the situation and soon thereafter he started snaking my clean out and tore out a big portion of my drywall in my office area. Soon thereafter his snake was going through the roof of my house and on the ground in the side of my house, I do have pictures. He said he had never had this happen before as he was trying to retract the cable and called for help. His supervising plumber arrived and began pulling the cable out as well, soon after the cable got stuck as he was pulling the cable with great force, and multiple pipes broke and the tub water went down and my house got flooded I. The downstairs. The plumbers got shop vacuums and started sucking up the water. The plumber then cut his cable because he could not get it out and didnt wanna create more damage. He acknowledged he broke the additional pipes pulling the cable. I then waited for them to come back and fix the damages, they returned multiple times in the coming weeks but did not fix anything said the water had to be removed from the lower pipes first. Frustrated I had the home warranty send another plumber who said there was 1 pipe cracked that caused the initial leak but the cable from the other plumbers cracked 3 additional pipes and broke the peatrap, which is what cause the tub water to expel. Waiting for resolution with was very frustrating not having a working restroom, I hired another plumber to fix the pipes, they also confirmed the pipes broken from the cable and peatrap, they pulled 10 feet of cable out of the pipes. Anytime has refused to pay for the damages and lied about their part of the damages saying the pipes were cracked when the arrived, I have 2 separate companies that can confirm they were not.Business Response

I have listened to the phone calls with our office, reviewed everything with the plumbers and went over the report with American Home Shield from the other company they sent out. The drain pipes in your home were cracked before we ever arrived, thats why you had called the office to escalate your appointment with us because you realized there was water in the walls. Yes our cable did get stuck but we cut it so that it wouldnt cause any further damage than what you already had. Per the report from AHS second opinion, they could not make a determination or assumption without having been there. The damage had occurred prior to our initial arrival. We would not be responsible for those damages. One single ptrap was damaged which is about a $5 part and that was part of our repair plan at no charge. One of the other reports had also stated what we said from the beginning, that those drains were installed improperly which is what caused this issue. As you saw due to the improper installation our cable went up to the roof and not towards the 3in drain pipe or the other areas of breakage. The size cable used was appropriate for this drain size. When plumbing is done improperly the effects may show quickly or may take years to cause an issue. I have spoken with the plumbers on several occasions regarding this and it has been the exact same recollection each time.Customer Answer

A single pipe was cracked prior to your plumbers arriving and your plumbers then crack 2 more pipes. The plumbers acknowledged this and either you are lying or the plumbers are lying to you. The cable they inserted broke those pipes it is the reason the water in the tub went down. They were responsible for those damages and you are a unethical company refusing to do what is right. How do you explain the water in the tub going away and flooding my house as the plumber was tugging on the cable? The reason he cut the cable is because he broke those pipes and didnt wanna break more pipes. The incorrect plumbing is not what I am ask for damages for i accept those damages. I am asking to you to pay for the pipes your plumbers broke with thier incompetent work. Both other plumbers said that cable should not have gone into that small pipe, and they destroyed my drywall in my office where the clean out was, or is that someone elses fault too, since you refuse to accept any of the damages you have caused.
