I have been a patient of the doctor for several years, I was experienceing some erratic heart beats, so I went to the doctor to diagnose what was happening. The doctor ran several tests. I asked the front desk about fees each time. The Doctor ordered a heart monitor be worn for several days. I was charged a copayment for this test. I was told that covered the test by the staff. After this test I received a bill from BdX Solutions for 295 dollars, I learned that my insurance requested justification for the monitor and was not responded to. I disputed this charge and again received a bill but now for ************************************************************************************************ appeal the denial causing the entire test to be unpaid. I did not agree or contract with any other company for this test. The doctor failed to do the work they are required to do to get this paid. I contacted the practice manager multiple times at extension 133 and I have gotten no response. The doctor's billing department created this situation. I did not agree to a self pay 895 dollar test. I dispute the entire amount. The doctors office need to un bury its head and start an appeal with the insurance company or they need to pay the charge they caused me. This situation is a violation of the "The No Surprises Act" which protects people covered under group and individual health plans from receiving surprise medical bills.I was never advised this could be denied, that the price would be this high, I paid a large copay for the test up front and the practice manager will not even tell me what happened to those funds.
