    seller knowingly sold an item that was misrepresented in a coin sleeve that clearly described the item as "rare 1/2 California Gold". When the item arrived I discovered that the original fractional California Gold token described on the sleeve had been switched out with a replica. The seller never mentioned that the coin in the sleeve was only a replica and that it was mislabeled during the live auction. When contacting the seller to discuss the situation they responded "we said it wasn't gold" referencing a verbal statement they made during the stream and thereby acknowledging that they knew at the time of the auction that the item being auctioned was being misrepresented in the written description. The seller takes no responsibility. Knowingly presenting and allowing a visual misrepresentation (in writing) during a live video auction, even with vague verbal statements, does not in good faith, follow the ethical standards represented and upheld by either policy or US Federal Law.
