We trusted **** and ******* with our ****** ***** and Im so happy we did. They treat you like family, you can call anytime for updates and they post photos of progress. ***** is a rescue so I definitely didnt want to add more trauma to his life. They promise no shock collars. They use positive reinforcement and it helped build his confidence tremendously. Thank you so much for your work with ***** we appreciate it!

My partner and I had reactive issues with our white pit terrier, Nova. We had tried everything we even did a three week training with Desert Sky K9 in ******* but I dont believe they worked on her aggressions. **** would call me to say she was perfect and everything was working out wonderfully and not even a week after I get her back she goes to attack my partner. I believe while Nova was boarded at Desert Sky ******** for three weeks they had her in a routine of baseline obedience training not focusing on the real issues we had been expressing to them. To say the least I feel a little bit robbed. I feel like I was sold into believing this truly would be the best fit for both Nova and our family but we were wrong. Last week we had to put Nova down at the ******************* using behavioral euthanasia because she had attacked us 10 times and the behaviors were continuing to get worse mostly resource guarding, territorial issues and rage syndrome. I feel so heartbroken, not only because we spent a huge chunk of money trying to fix our dogs behaviors but also because I trusted **** and *******. If youre dog has higher behaviors than the ordinary obedience I DO NOT recommend Desert Sky K9.Desert Sky K9

*******,I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations. As you stated, you tried everything to try to fix your problem with Nova. When we had Nova here for training, we had absolutely no aggression issues at all! In order to fix it we need to see it exhibited to us. I was never attacked nor was ******* & according to you, the problem was only your partner. We had you come to us for an evaluation to meet us, we never tried to sell you anything but letting you know that we do the best we can with what we have. I feel a bit taken back by your comments, I am very up-front with people when it comes to explaining what we do. We offer the complimentary handling lessons witch you didn't take advantage of, those are very much part of the training & very important. Now as far as feeling heartbroken, by euthanizing a perfectly good dog, which I do not believe you did, we are very sad that YOU did not do this dog justice by doing your part. check our Nova's progress while here tin training! *************************************************Review fromAngela O

My husband and I kenneled our dog with Desert Sky K-9 Recently, and I am so glad that we did. We met with them first to make sure my husband was comfortable with leaving his baby frenchie. Within the first three minutes, I knew that my husband would feel comfortable and we booked nine days of boarding and Im so glad we did this small home-based business is fantastic. They treat your four-legged family members as if they were theirs. They sent pictures and videos while we were on vacation. When we picked up our dog, he was clean and so happy not stressed at all, and I mentioned this because I boarded my two other dogs twice in a local boarding and vet facility when I picked up my dogs from there, they were stressed and smelled. So I was frantic to find a good place and Im so glad I found desert sky. I will be back. I will be their customer for life. I will recommend this facility to all my friends and family. I also love that they believe in positive positive reinforcement and theyre just great fabulous people. ************* is a great communicator and ******* is a fabulous trainer and you can tell he really loves dogs, so if you want a safe place for your dog to be trained or to be boarded , take my advice. Desert Sky K9 are miracle workers! We took our French bullies, McAlester and Tulsa to them as they were out of control. After being at Desert Sky they came back well trained. Now I don’t have a problem taking them out and about as they readily follow my commands. Vincent is excellent at what he does. Would recommend anyone needing dog training to Desert Sky! 5 starsThis dog training business it great. We are so happy we picked them to train are dog. Its been a year and are dog is still behaving and listening to us. They also will kennel your dog if they train them. We have kenneled are dog with them 4 times. They will continue with training your dog when you leave them. We had a emergency come up and had to leave town, I called and they said yes bring him over now and we left him for 11 days . The cost for kenneling was $45 a day which is a great price compared to others. I dont know what we would have done without their help. 5 stars**** and ******* are so amazing and easy to work with. Started talking to **** a few months before I committed to their place, one time I even had an emergency scare and randomly called her because I had no one else to ask. They worked with my constant last minute schedule. Mayday isn't 100% perfect but can that really be expected with dog training? She has definitely improved and responding to simple commands that she wouldn't have before. They offer handling lessons after the training is over just to help me and ****** improve with the training. Cannot express my gratitude enough with how they accommodated my constantly changing schedule and really worked with me to help me get the most out of ******'s training. 5 starsWe took our Bull Mastiff for puppy trading at around 14 weeks old and we had a great experience with Gail and her son. They were very welcoming and transparent with training. She has a very clean and spacious environment for training! They kept constant updates with us the whole time he was with them. It is now a year later and our not so puppy is doing great with his training still! We really recommend Desert Sky K9 for any kind of training they do so well with dogs and keeping up with owners to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable leaving them in their hands?? thank you so much Desert Sky K9Review fromGlenn V

5 starsAfter my wife passed away, my kids told me I need to get a dog. After a year I decided to get the dog trained so that I could walk it ,ride with it in my truck , take it camping , things like that . I saw a truck in a parking lot that said , Desert Sky K9 all breed dog training. So I told my kids and thay checked it out. After approval from my kids I called. Took ****** in and hoped for the best. Got some fun pictures of the training. Around the end of the three week training, I called to ask how she was doing. I was told she was very timid and shy for the first week and could we keep her for one more week NO CHARGE. That was cool, I told them go for it. The next week, my daughter and I went to get ******. She was excited to see us. During my training with the dog, I was nervous and she was nervous so it went OK. Now the cool stuff. Once I got her home we kicked back and enjoyed being home. The next day I started what I was taught and what ****** had ****** and went for nice ride in my truck (so proud),I called her to me put on her leash (that was a first) my first outside walk with my dog (so cool). We will keep working on the commands and hand signs. I am so happy I used Desert Sky K9.
