I highly recommend these guys! On one of the hottest days of the summer in ** (mid July 2024) my AC quit, blowing out only warm air. The temperature in my house quickly rose and my warranty company refused to mark my situation as an emergency and assigned me a company that was not available until the following week. I called Hometown Heating and Air Conditioning and the owner (*** Walsh) answered right away and promised to get me help by the end of the day! He was as good as his word and sent out his son, ***** who quickly identified the problem (a burned out capacitor) and replaced it. By early evening the cold air was blowing again in my home! RELIEF! Very reasonable charge for the part and labor too. Kudos to Hometown Heating and Air Conditioning, *** Walsh and Jacob *********************** If youre in an HVAC emergency like I was, these are the guys to call!!

I called 5 times and left a message with a person and never got a call back or an explanation of why the repairman wasn't calling back. The repairman didn't show up or call the first two times he was supposed to come out. After I called again, he came out the third time. He told us what he found and we have never heard from him again. I left 2 messages after he had been here and we still haven't heard from him. We have been without a heater for 2 months. I finally went to someone in town and they came out the same day.

Good evening ******, I am truthfully sorry for the inconvenience you encountered while submitting your claim thru ********************. When a third party is involved in a service call, they have the obligation of coordinating everything from original agreement to service the property, accepting the diagnosis, and making the final decision of repair authorizations. Unfortunately, none of that communication took place. This is the reason Hometown **************************** will no longer offer our services thru home warranty companies. We do appreciate your comments given .
