    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

    Regards,

Late on the 7th of Jan, **** I was trapped in the middle of nowhere for a few hours in a blizzard. Ultimately I arrived at around 5am and asked for a late check-out. I'm asked permission to add the $20 fee to my room, I said yes. I lug both heavy suitcases up the stairs only to find the lock on the door is broken. Light blinks green, makes sounds, does not open. I tried for 10 minutes. Went back to the office and was assigned a new room. I asked for a first floor room as I couldn't carry these heavy suitcases two more times. She finds me a first floor room and I get in and go to bed. At around 11:45am an employee fist banged on my door till I woke up. I was in a state of undress, he demanded I go to the office which means getting dressed and DRIVING over there. I asked him to and he came back angry and wanted me out of the room and I had to do it in 15 min. I ended up not even having a chance to shower so I wore the clothing from the 7th. I loaded my car and dropped the keys off and filed a complaint. After I reach my destination I find out the hotel charged me an additional $60. I reach out to hotels.com and then Ramada itself. Both said they contacted the hotel and I wouldn't get my $60 back, and here is where their accusations fall apart. Hotels.com accuses me of damaging the room & stealing 2 pillows. Ramada says a different story. Damaging the room was now stealing their coffee maker. I have proof to show the hotel couldn't even keep straight what they were accusing me of stealing. Who in their right mind would take a single serve coffee maker than can only take teabags filled with coffee? Why would I take two pillows? You can buy pillows twice the size of this place for $5 ea. I just want my $60 back. I have no need to take items from a hotel room that has been used by hundreds or thousands of people eww. If I really want those 2 things, I can order them online and have them delivered! I don't steal! I want my $60 back hotel can keep the $ for the room!
