    Worst experience ever! My transmission failed and I took my vehicle to Advanced to have it rebuilt. I was traveling through *******, Az. to *****. ***, the owner, gave me the old song and dance about being a traveler's friend and taking good care of us. He took us alright! He charged me $6000, and of course would not return the vehicle if it wasn't paid. When leaving the parking lot, the transmission was making a whining noise. The mechanic said it was alright and just needed to break in. The transmission was shifting very hard and I called Advanced just to be told it would be ok. Halfway to *****, it started acting up really bad, banging real hard when shifting. I was closer to home than back to Kingman so I continued. I called Advanced several times on my way and was told that it would be worked out with a shop in ***** once I got there. After getting home, *** gave me a name of a shop in ******* that I could take it to. *** said he would make everything right. The shop found that there was no second gear installed. *** refused to believe it and demanded I bring the vehicle back for him to fix it. The vehicle certainly would not make it another 1100 miles back to Kingman for repair and *** refused to pay for the repair in *****. So, I have a $6000 paperweight.
