    The seller sold me a vacuum cleaner through Amazon (Order# ***-9500970-2986612). Even though it was listed as new, the item was used with clear signs of wear and tear as well as a broken part and one or two missing parts. There were two runs of tape on the box as well. Their Amazon seller record has been flawless as they have been working with Amazon to remove negative feedback as soon as it's posted. That of course misled me personally when I made the purchase. Today, I tried to leave negative feedback, but as with other people's negative feedback, it was removed immediately and the system does not allow me to reenter it. This company claims that any merchandise inquiries are handled by Amazon, while Amazon can only handle the shipping of the item and they have no way to assess its condition. I tried to get my money back from Amazon, but Amazon incorrectly informed me IN WRITING that it's OK for me to dispose of the item without returning it since I am unable to drive to *** to ship it back. If they offered me item pickup, I would have accepted it without a problem but they didn't. Amazon, to avoid further trouble internally, offered me a simple apology about what happened and no refund, insisting that I should have returned the item which I had already gotten rid of. The seller is liable for this, as much as Amazon is for their misinformation, but the item's condition must be purely their responsibility. Amazon is allowing them to sell through their platform and nothing else. What they sell and what condition they claim it is, is on them.They need to issue a refund of ****** dollars.
