    On April 15, 2023, via telephone, I booked an RV spot for my motorhome plus storage for my car trailer for Feb/March 2024 with Havasu Falls RV Resort. I paid the $425 deposit. The confirmation email states no refunds for early departure. Confirmation R000018822. On February 1, 2024 I arrived as agreed at Havasu Falls RV, booked in and paid the remaining balance of $850. I asked which storage spot our car trailer was to go in and was advised that there was no notation on my file that I required a storage spot. I explained that in April 2023 I had booked both an RV spot and storage spot. I was advised there were no storage spots available and the person who took my reservation no longer worked there. They called a neighbouring business to see if they had storage. I went next door to look at the available spot, unfortunately it was too small. I was caught between a rock and a hard place as without car trailer storage I could not stay. They had no other suggestions or solutions. I requested my money back, they refused holding up the receipt they gave me when I paid the balance of $850 (it was stamped no refunds). I would not have paid them the $850 if I had been aware they had made an error and had no storage available. After much discussion, they refunded the $850 I just paid but refused to refund the deposit. I left the business at that point. On March 6, 2024 I emailed the manager requesting a refund of my deposit and was denied. I feel very strongly that the $425 deposit should be refunded. I arrived on February 1 as agreed and was prepared to stay until March 31st, per our agreement. They did not hold up their end of the agreement by not providing both storage and an RV spot. I understand mistakes happen but feel I should not be financially responsible for an employees error, regardless if they still work there or not.
