      Dove Mountain Cleaners ruined my $4,000 wedding dress. I was shocked and tearful when I picked up my previously white dress that is now a dingy nude color. The owner’s son Aiden was rude and aggressive in his words and tone when I told him I did not want to pay the $301.35 for the ruined dress that he said they can’t fix. He refused to let me talk to the owners and said he would have to "take things from here" if I didn't run my credit card. Aiden was so cold when he told me he could choose not to charge me, discount it, or give me my other dry-clean items for free but he wasn’t going to. He even said “I’m not a good human” when I expressed how devastated I was and told him that wasn’t right that he wasn't willing to do anything to help the situation. Aiden agreed that he cares more about the business losing money than he does about people themselves or retaining customers. He said that it was my fault that my dress was ruined because there was dirt on the bottom of my dress. The staff at Dove Mountain Cleaners were clearly out of their scope and had many opportunities to communicate this to me or to tell me what was happening with the dress as they worked on it but they chose not to. It's clear that they just wanted the money for the job even if they couldn't do it and my precious possessions would be ruined. I have since taken the dress to another cleaning company that told me the whole dress should never have been soaked in water and Dove Mountain Cleaners should have only cleaned the very bottom of the dress that was dirty. The rest of the dress was still white and any small stains should have been spot treated only. It was clear negligence. The staff being so rude and unwilling to do anything to rectify their mistake is unacceptable and an unethical way to do business. Dove Mountain Cleaners did not offer any resolution to the problem and I would like my money to be returned to me.
