We attended Jakes on 06/19 to celebrate Juneteenth with our children. Upon entering the first place we stopped was the buffet. The food ALL looked disgusting. Like it had been sitting out all day. Some items were dry and crusty, others like the lettuce were brown and discolored. I kindly asked the gentleman behind the counter if he could make fresh pizza since it all seemed cold or been sitting out for sometime. To which he told me no, he wasnt able to do that. We ended up not even eating because the options were just not eatable. We continued on playing games and allowing the kids to ride. While attempting to play some games we ran into more difficulties. The air hockey tables (4) only one of them had a puck to play, but none of the others had a sign saying out of order. In top of that all 4 tables had soda spilled all over them and were so sticky u couldnt even slide the puck across the table. Several other games we tried to play it was the same thing. The ski ball game had only 3 ***** so we could t play that. Again no sign of anything stating dont spend your money on this game. Several other games didnt even have the proper pieces to play the games and no signage. Do my children are just swiping for a fans that doesnt even work. When I approached the service counter to tell them, I was advised there was only one mantinence man able to repair the games and she would have someone look into it. After spending close to 250$ for a family of 5 to have an enjoyable evening. It was a horrible experience!!

Went to Jakes Unlimited in **** off of ********/******* for the 1st time on the evening of 5/19/24 and purchased the Pro Pass for my son. Walking up to the building staff were sitting outside, so we already had negative vibes going into the building. Walking in I was questioning purchasing admission as the buffet looked extremely unusual and I saw games unavailable do to being down. BUFFET:- buffet setup was huge, but it was empty when you walked up. There were 3 pastas - one dried up and empty, pasta all over the place outside the tub. - Styrofoam and glass plates were out and mixed, utensils were plastic and felt sticky - the fountain drinks area was chaotic and messy, I didnt let my son get anything due to presentation - staff sat in a corner in one of the dining areas gossiping GAMES:- more than 1/2 the games were down, I cant even begin to count the games that took my sons points and didnt function correctly (I.e. Dino game, 2 out 5 air hockey tables pucks were missing and the other 2 tables were Down leaving 1 table full functional, solo cup game shut off after he swiped his wrist band, etc.)- games involving water smelled extremely bad and very unhealthy (I.e. Zombie spray game)- Stinky Feet game in the corner has a ton of visible black mold spots, that is VERY unhealthy especially to asthmatic customers such as my son and I. Overall, there was no staff out on the floor to ask for help. ***** minutes in my son asked to leave, which rarely happens. I would like a refund and assurance that someone will inspect the health and functionality of this business. There was no way to contact management so unfortunately this is the route I had to take.

On 3/15/2023 I took two children to Jakes Unlimited, while there we encountered a lot of issues with their machines. We paid over $200.00 to get into the facility not including the additional money we paid to play their games just to have their games not pay out the correct number of tickets that my children have earned from their machines. I spoke with two supervisors and was called a liar. Jakes unlimited should be ashamed of themselves for ripping off small children of their tickets, it is stealing money from the parents.
