On 12/15/2022 my wife and I went out with a couple other friends to eat a nice dinner together. I ordered a meat trio that consisted of pulled pork, brisket and chicken. My 2 sides were mushrooms and shrimp. Everyone at the table received their food and I had only received my sides. After 10 minutes I asked the server where my food was, she told me they had some issues with a line cook and had messed up my order but it was being remade. 5 minutes later I get a plate of disgusting, dry food. I sent the plate back as it was hardly edible. The manager came over and apologized telling me they had a new line cook that was released to do some things they werent trained on yet. I told her I wanted to get a steak instead. 25 minutes later my group was done eating. I still had not received my food. At this point it was 8:15 we sat down at 6:30. I told the manager I didnt want the steak and asked if they comp our meals as we didnt feel like we should have to pay with the service being so horrible. The manager got upset with me and told me how they are a small family business and cant afford to comp someones meal, they have a strict policy, if it leaves in your stomach or a to go box, youre paying for it. I didnt have it in my stomach or a to go box. The experience was horrible, the manager handled this way wrong. About 20 minutes after leaving my friend started vomiting along with other issues. Obvious food poisoning. They also contacted the health department. This establishment did not serve us, they did not compensate us. They ripped us off. We want our money back. All $130 of it.
