I would like you to review a claim that $7.808.81 is due for low quality kit and tuition due to my daughter dropping out of their program. They will not accept the return of a laptop or cheap tools such as a hair dryer. She has attempted to speak to the manager has been turned away. Today she asked for an appointment and was told come back 31 July but the bill is due on the 15th. My daughter applied for Financial Aid to attend this program and I suspect they could not get the money since she dropped out. Now they expect her to pay for a full years tuition after only attending less than a month. I am sure they had her agree to it somehow. It is unrealistic to ask her to pay that amount in one payment. The payment needs to be adjusted to reflect the actual cost of items provided and a reduced tuition since she did not stay for a year. Being 21 I would not blame her for letting this go to collections and just not paying anything after dropping off their property at the school. It would ruin her credit but she is young and collections drop off after 7 years. Please contact the business and have the revise the amount and set up a monthly payment plan.

When students enter our programs, it is our expectation, and theirs as well, that they will graduate from the program. However sometimes situations arise that prevent a student from completing the program. This does not release them of their financial responsibility for their cost of the time they were in the program. These costs are based on a contract they signed prior to beginning the program. Including the cost should they not complete a program. It is our hope if a student is unable to complete a program that they are able to return in the future to complete it. Since this is an adult student, we would not be able to address any issues ************** has without her daughters expressed written permission and therefore I cannot respond specifically about this account. I can say however in general if a student has a balance after they have withdrawn from the program, we do give them the option to set up a reasonable monthly payment plan, so they are able to successfully address their financial responsibility. Any student can contact their campus financial aid coordinator or our corporate financial aid office.

My daughter ******* attended school at Avalon and graduated in 2022. She just received a letter stating she owes 98$ and if not paid it will accrue interest. I was an employee at Avalon and paid my daughter tuition. When I made the last payment I specifically asked are you sure she is good? They said yes and sent her paper work to state board. The school will not send the paperwork to state board if any money is owed. My daughter is licensed and she keeps getting letters the last one a year ago was sent straight to collections with the amount of 80 dollars again if not paid it would acure interest. I have called the school and all they told me is than an audit was done and it stated she owes that amount. We have never received proof of that audit or paperwork that shows that amount being owed and for what. I have all the payments and statements of payments and her contract. But they fall short on disclosing their findings and communicating especially since she been graduated since 2022. I think a full audit on the school and contract should be done as well as their finances.

It was made fully aware my complaints werent of the cleaning. But of the lack of proper sanitizing and cleaning. Which is the schools reasoning, as you stated yourself, for future business. Pushing around dirty mops. With dirty water dumped from a bowl, is not proper cleaning. Wiping bathrooms down with a wet paper towel. Not cleaning. I made the proper complaints. I also intended on staying. After your responses, much like the excuses and nonsense in your responses here, it was clear I was not going to get a solution. Change only happens when accountability is there. I have video of the arm and hand massage being not legal. Per our book on our zoom class. I can add that. I signed a contract to be educated. I was not educated. I was making complaints about the wasted time, the very first week. rk as what they were teaching, when teaching, it was hard to know what was opinion and what was fact. Being students. Thats dangerous. We were taught hand and arm massage. Esthetics arent allowed to do that. Taught that Botox causes botulism after 30 years. Taught theres mercury in injections that cause autism. Very dangerous misinformed opinions. Now Im charged half of the tuition per their contract, even though I made the correct formal complaints. I did not leave because I wanted to. I was learning potentially dangerous false information all while having wasted class and zoom time. Daily.

As a student at our Institution, you signed a contract and we have enforced our contact per the agreement you signed.  When you brought forward complaints and concerns regarding your program following our company policy they were resolved in alignment with our expectations and Industry requirements.  For example: you complained that you should not have to participate in daily monitor duties due to them being a waste of time however we are required to ensure our students practice safety and sanitation in our program. It is not a complaint we can remedy as it is required, we enforce this practice as an institution.  Unfortunately, your grievances while in school mimic this BBB statement which lacks factual information.  For example: Estheticians are required to learn arm and hand massage and it is covered under the scope of practice despite your statement. In regard to our learning environments and completion of our curriculum as you were notified you would have received the entire curriculum and education if you would have chosen to stay in the program. Students are not able to dictate the timeline and delivery of the curriculum, practical demonstrations or presentations as we have an established and proficient system, we deliver to our students which was presented to you at the time of enrollment. You went to the School Director and stated you were concerned because you had to spend time cleaning and sanitizing the classroom and that you would like to withdraw from the program as you had plans to seek your education at a different institution.  Again, your request to withdraw was accepted and you were charged in accordance with the contractual charges you agreed to

rogram have also come across issues regarding the linens and towel wraps that we use. These materials are stained, and simply do not look professional. There are not enough linens and towel wraps for all of us students to use, and are not appealing for us to use for our clients due to them appearing unclean. We are inquiring how often these are replaced, and if there is a way for the school to provide us with new materials and throw out our current supplies. We have brought up these concerns to our instructors hoping that this information would be communicated upwards. However, we have not seen any resolution to these issues.

School is disorganized, tools and equipment are broken and not replaced. The shelves are disorganized and not properly labeled, instructors fail to organize them themselves. Certain instructors fail to oversee facials upon students and clients. Many times the instructors will leave us to depend on each other without assistance. Laundry/linens will sit until a PM class that were used on clients were not cleaned after use, taking time away from our education. I pay a lot of money for this school and extremely disappointed. Computers are not sufficient for classes online as well zoom conferences. Courses and information is not up to date. I want to see improvement on these schooling and I dont feel that the money I pay is equivalent to education I am getting out of this business.Admin who oversees students hours and attendance is also disorganized; they do not align with our attendance nor does they try to explain clearly why its not corrected. School did not have all items paid for at the beginning of courses was disorganized at the beginning of class.
