I signed up, and paid for, a BLS/AED class. I was told hours later, that my work would provide the same type of class for me at no cost. I asked to cancel the class, within less than 24 hours, and this place refused to refund me. It was also 6 days prior to the scheduled date of class, which is enough time for someone else to sign up. There is nothing listed on their website showing a no refunds policy, until after purchasing the class. I feel that their website is dishonest and misleading and that I should be given my money back. Again, I asked for a refund in less than 24 hours after purchasing and six days prior to the class date chosen. Attached, please find my receipt of purchase. I searched their website and found that the only place showing information about no refunds appears when clicking on view class instructions. This appears on your purchase receipt.

I previously filed a complaint against CPR Mesa with the BBB for a situation in which they told the BBB they would resolve by providing a $79.95 refund. It has been several weeks and they have still not provided a refund, I'm not surprised as they have only demonstrated unprofessionalism so far. I filed a complaint with my credit card company, who then contacted CPR Mesa, and CPR Mesa lied and stated they provided me a service that they did not. They asked for proof in their BBB response that my CC company didnt provide a refund which I provided screenshots of in my reply. I would like to reopen the matter because the previous complaint states the matter is resolved even though it is not, because I have still not been refunded. They do not have a designated office space at the address listed on their website, they do not return emails, calls or texts. This unethical immoral company has lied to my credit card company saying they provided a service and now lied to the BBB saying they would provide a refund which they still have not provided. All I want is a refund which is rightfully owed to me because they never provided a service for which they said they did, and they have continued to lie about it. I provided the screenshots again from my credit card company showing they reinstated the fee after CPR Mesa lied twice. The timeliness of issuing the refund and lack of response is unacceptable and seriously ridiculous. This situation disgusts me because this company is supposed to provide a critical service to train people how to save lives. How they are behaving & their business practices are abhorrent.

    Business Response

We have already indicated in our previous response why we cannot trigger the refund right away. I attached the screenshot and below is the exact message about the refund for your reference.

"We are willing to issue the refund, it's just we are still waiting for the bank's decision on the payment dispute. We cannot trigger the refund unless the bank has released their decision. We highly suggest that the student connect with her bank to either have them release the funds so we can process the refund, or have it returned to her account. This response could be forwarded to the bank as a proof in case necessary."

Please show the entire message to Ms. Cole. I also attached a screenshot of the dispute result timeline.

As much as we would like to issue the refund and get this resolved right away, our hands are tied. At this time, it is really best to get in touch with the bank. CPR Certification Mesa authorizes the bank to return the $79.95 to Jennifer Cole's account.

Once again, we apologize for the experience and the inconvenience that this has caused.

As I have indicated in my screenshots weeks ago and again yesterday, the bank has done this weeks ago. The letter from them is attached as well as the screenshot of my statement showing them adding the $79.95 back to my account. Also, I cannot trust anything you say at this point. Issue the refund already!
