On May 20, 2024, ********************** allowed Droz & Co Drilling LLC to temporarily stage construction equipment on a portion of the church property. The drilling company agreed to maintain the staging area while using the location as a staging yard. The agreement was to keep the property, driveways, and parking lot in neat order and to return them to their original condition, which was a neatly leveled gravel yard with no bare dirt. On September 25, 2024, the City of ******************************* found that the property was being used for equipment staging, which violated city code. The drilling company and the Church were informed that the construction equipment should be removed from the property. Droz & Co Drilling LLC began complying by slowly removing its equipment from the property throughout two and a half months. After removing the equipment from the property, the Churchs phone calls to ******* ********** to arrange for property restoration were ignored. Texts went unanswered. For over a month now, the property has not been returned to its original condition, and the company has continued to use the Church driveway and parking lot to fill their water trucks from a city hydrant near the property. The current damaged property remains in disrepair. It has a broken parking curb, eroded portions of the assault parking lot, exposed dirt, mostly removed gravel, large piles of dirt, trash, and an unleveled dirt surface. The drilling company once attempted an unacceptable parking lot repair. The property has not been restored to its original condition, and the last contact with the owner, ******* **********, was a written admission stating, I have done wrong. Despite this, the property remains in disarray. There have been only empty promises to restore it, but no follow-through has occurred. The property remains in a mess, and the Church has no means to restore it to its original condition as the Drilling Company was to do per the agreement.
