The bottom line is if you are planning a *************** want to feel special and that this is the most important day of your life, you need to choose a different venue.Know the intention is to be transparent and walk you through our experience, so you can make an educated decision when you plan your big day.It started with our first meeting. The estimate we were given for the cost of the venue was enough for us to call and cancel other venues, by the time we got to the final bill, it was truly incredible the amount of extra fees/charges that they "forgot" in our initial estimate. The day of, we could not get a hold of our wedding planner we were mandated to use. Twice, the bride tried to call our wedding planner, *******, and it went straight to voicemail. That is correct, the wedding planner would not answer her phone for the bride the day of her wedding. She also would not answer the phone for a handful of outside vendors that we had come in, so the groom had to take calls during dinner to help set up outside vendors. The bride and groom essentially had to run their own rehearsal due to *******'s lack of initiative and willingness to take charge. Our wedding planner left 2 hours before the wedding ended without communicating that to us.Multiple promises from the venue were not fulfilled on the wedding day. Every bathroom had at least one bathroom or sink that was not working. We spent money on a smores bar after promises that a fire pit would be available. ******* came up to us while we were eating dinner to let us know that the fire pit was not working. Her solution was a burner the size of a note card that you can touch barehanded without getting burned Multiple visions for our day that we communicated to ******* regarding how we wanted the wedding set up - including greenery, flowers, candles, name plates, cake decorating were not followed through. No matter what they tell you, you absolutely can hear other weddings going on at the same time.
