    Amazing Company! They came out to my home and did their $17.75 Tune-Up, checked every component of my system and didn't try to sell me on anything

    I was not impressed with their service after waiting two weeks for a tune up inspection they scheduled late in afternoon 3:00 to 6:00 pm and taking a half day off from work they did not show up or even call. So when I called and got answering service and left message with lady they did not call back either. So waited till next day and called and they offer to reschedule over a week later at same time interval 3:00 to 6:00 pm huh. So we will wait and see but they are not very customer friendly!

    I had Semper Fi heating and cooling come to my house to do a tune up to get ready for our hot season. Their serviceman told me I needed my capacitor and contractor replaced and if I didnt do it right away it would most like cause my compressor to fail. He also recommended that he put on a Hard Start due to my unit being over 5 years old. He told me the total cost would be $1,200. $528 to put in the capacitor, $480 to put in the contractor and apparently the rest of the $1,200 was for the hard start. When I told him I would have to think about it, he quickly lowered the price to $702. He said that if I didnt do it now, he could almost guarantee that it would go out the next time I used it. I told him to go ahead. I then went on line and found the exact same capacitor for $19.99, the most expensive contractor that would work for my unit cost $42 and the Hard Starts ran between $20-$40. All three parts totaled less than $100 and it took him less than 15 minutes to install all three. The capacitor was nothing more than unplugging the old one and plugging in the new. Yet Semper Fi charged me over $500 in labor just to do this 60 second job. When I discovered how bad I had been ripped off I called and asked to talk to their manager. The lady I talked to was very apologetic and told me they were very busy now but see was sure the manager would call me back by the end of the work day. Never heard back from anyone. Semper Fi is no friend to us veterans

    I contacted Semper Fi ******************************************* to come out to my home to do an ac tune up. The tech, who was nice enough, came out and just did an inspection that took less than 30 minutes. According to the tech, 2 of my capacitors were bad and needed to be replaced. Did he prove to me by showing me on a multi meter that they were bad? No. Im just supposed to believe they were. His next response was that it would cost me approximately $1,100 dollars to replace both parts. I was thinking to myself how can 2 capacitors cost $1,100? The next day I found both of them on line for $7.99 and $32 each. A total of $40!!! How can someone justify charging a customer $1,100 for 2 parts that can be found online for $40? Luckily I had a warranty that covered the repair. Consumers, please be aware and do your homework. If someone gives you an astronomical quote for a simple repair job, please get a second or ************** from other a/c companies.

    This place is the most scandalous, lying, crooked company I have ever seen! From the salesman trying to scam you out of parts and units that arent even needed to be fixed to the owner cheating on his wife with his employees in his office and doing drug deals in the workplace made me feel so uncomfortable! I would go somewhere else before calling them!

    Semper Fi Heating and Cooling sent me an unsolicited ad that is constructed to look like a warning that my Air Conditioner Tune-Up and Safety Inspection is suddenly due by the end of the current month. I've never done business with this company and they don't know anything about my system. The 'notice' like message is very deceptive and I will not do business with them ever in the future.

    Fast, reliable and great receptionist and staff. They came out the next day and helped me figure out my heating problem. I'm a new homeowner and I appreciated the information about my filter and why I need to have them on deck. They also found a major problem that could have been caught earlier if I had used a company like them to do inspections. I highly recommend their annual service and doing business with them. Very kind people!

    I was low on refrigerant and due to the monsoon all heating and cooling companys that I call (10) where back up for weeks. This was the only company that had time to come out and check my units. They changed me $180 per pound of refrigerant. My units needed 8 pounds. Total cost was $1440. With a discount they charged me $1152. He told me one of my units had a restriction in it and I needed to replace it. Total cost would be $12573. I had another company come out for a second opinion and they said it was fine it may have a very small leak by its functioning ok. They said the cost of refrigerant is $80 dollars a pound. Thats $100 less than them. I over paid by $552. I will never recommend this company to anyone. They are thieves.
