    I retained Modern Law for a simple Divorce. After paying the initial fees I was immediately asked for more money. I started the process of uploading all the requested documents. I was then asked fore more money. I continued to upload more requested documents and then was asked for more money. ******* the process of discovery, I discovered that this Firm, Modern Law is a scam. After paying the initial fees and retainer and uploading all documents my grand total nearly reached $9000.00. Let me be clear, Modern Law and *********************************** had completed absolutely nothing. I had paid nearly 9k after 1 month and then was dropped by them because I started to question the charges. Again, nothing was completed, not even my discovery. I could no longer continue to pay for overpriced services with no results. I have since hired another lawyer and they are great. Modern Law literally asked for money more times than actually asking for info related to the divorce.
