    I was having trouble with the interior thumb lock and exterior key to a 24 year old Pella door.Called The Lock Shop and after discussing the problem with their service schedule person, I requested a locksmith to my residence. He arrived in an hour and after discussing and checking the problem, he arrived at the conclusion the hardened lock bolt was dragging on the female rectangular hole steel plate attached to the jamb. The door was installed correctly, 24 years ago, just not adequately allowing for ************ Enlarging the hole slightly at the bottom repaired that problem. After this, he disassembled the internal lock assembly an lubricated and assured it was operating correctly, also assuring the Pella keys functioned correctly.He was friendly, courteous and professional answering all my questions. Cost was reasonable with a service call charge and a hour of labor.Would I use again and recommend....you bet.

    The Lock Shop was very professional and timely in their communications, follow-up and service delivery.We live in an older apartment complex which has undergone a series of ownership changes, maintenance technicians and ad-hoc repairs. The sliding glass door lock in particular had been changed out and repaired by others on numerous occasions but continued to fail due to the *****-rigged nature of the installation.We contacted the Lock Shop as we had used them and been highly satisfied with their work on a previous occasion. We wanted the sliding door lock fixed properly for purpose of reliability and security.***** handled the service call and was proficient in determining the specific parts needed to conduct the repair. His evaluation included querying another tenant in the complex in order to obtain photos of the original locking mechanism for purpose of parts ordering.Withing a couple of days and upon his return visit, the new parts were installed, and the locking mechanism looks and operates as originally intended.We will recommend the Lock Shop to our neighboring tenants as they are having similar issues with their sliding glass doors.We highly recommend using the Lock Shop and will continue to use them for future needs.
