I contacted Bishop & Son Appliance Repair on 10/23/22 when our refrigerator stopped working. **** showed up the next day and after spending some time inspecting the unit, he told me it would be $1313 to repair. I paid **** a deposit of $1012 for parts which he estimated would be available in about 5 days. The parts would not arrive for nearly a month. **** brought over a loaner fridge but that unit stopped working a week after it was delivered. We lost hundreds of dollars in groceries as a result. When the parts did arrive, **** repaired the fridge and it worked for about two weeks then stopped working again. It never worked again. We lost another several hundred dollars in groceries. Over the course of several ******************** replaced a few more parts at our expense, spent dozens of hours in our home, most often showing up hours late and several times not showing up at all. He was constantly unprepared, out of supplies, and many times had non-working equipment; even one time had to borrow money from me to replace broken equipment. After more than 100 days since I initially contacted ****, our refrigerator was still not working. **** had nothing to offer but excuses. At the end of January 2023, I contacted another company but when they arrived, told us they couldn't work on it because ****'s work was so poor he had essentially turned our fridge into scrap. At this point **** would no longer reply to texts or calls. He refused to pick up his non-working loaner fridge; we had to hire a company to pick it up and dispose of it. After spending $1952, and losing hundreds of dollars in groceries, we had to replace our refrigerator with a brand new unit that cost us $13K. I have all the texts, ********************** to back up my claim. I am requesting a full refund in the amount of $1952 I paid to Bishop & Son Appliance Repair to settle this matter.
