    Movers picked up my furniture at my condo in ********** and moved it to the *** Trucking terminal and loaded a semi-trailer (part of it) for a cross country move with UPack. Please see attached letter with photos. I sent this via email first to *****, the mover, and then to a street address, but the letter was returned. While there was quite a bit of damage, I do recognize the time and energy spent in moving my things. I am only asking for a partial refund of the moving fee. Total cost was $630 and I'm requesting $200 back. The movers were nice, and were fairly quick. They just didn't pack the semi-trailer well enough so items didn't shift in transport. There was too much empty space around the items and the bulkhead, which divides the moves in the semi-trailer.

    Date: May 30, 2022. Charge: $345.00 The movers came two hours ahead of our appointment, then came back an hour later to begin the job. At least one of the employees was high from cannibis, (evidence from scent in their car and general behavior).The movers did not listen to instructions, and ultimately packed the ********************************************* our wishes. At the end of the two hours, there was still more for my family pack in the truck, but when we inspected their packing, we found hundreds of cubic feet unused, and literally barricaded behind some of our largest pieces of furniture. Much of the furniture which they did pack ended up damaged, such as our large office desk, boxsprings, a musical instrument, dresser, among others. Ultimately, to fit the remainder of our belongings in the truck, we had to repack a significant portion of the truck to improve access and reclaim wasted space. This process took many hours and was very dangerous. In one instance, I nearly had a box fall on my head, and my wife also fell down while navigating the poorly packed truck. Much of this damage came to light after our seven day trek, when we got to see the results of Above Average Movers failed job, which is especially disappointing because they neglected our requests to use packing materials to protect our belongings, all the while bragging about their expertise. Within the month, after settling down from our move, I tried to contact Above Average Movers to file a complaint directly with them, but met with significant resistance. Once the manager was aware that I was upset with their service, he proved difficult to reach by phone (I suspect he was dodging my calls) and has not responded to a single email - I have sent no fewer than three. This is among the last stops that I have to make things right. I have more photos than what are produced below, as well as video documentation, which I have also sent to Above Average.

    So 1st off client scheduled thru the moving help portal..  So whatever contact that was listed there is the number I contacted when I 1st recieved the order. I sent a message to the number like i do all my clients. I never received a response until day of move rite as we arrived on loaction.  Client calls from a total different number to confirm what time we would be there. I let them.know then that I had contacted the number provided on the movinghelp order. They told me they where at the uhaul location picking up the truck. So me.amd my crew ran to store . So about 15mins later they called said they were back at the home.. and we arrived not even 5mins later. Not an hour like they mentioned.. Secondly when we did the walk thru they were not even ready to move.. they didnt have nearly enough blankets for furniture protection  and they also had very large items and no too many boxes which makes it challenging  because you dont want certian furniture stack on other furniture.  Especially the distance they where driving out of state. And they also didnt have rachet straps to secure their load during travel.  When they contacted me the 1st time I asked for pictures for proof of damage and recieved nothing. We were hired for the 2hrs they prepaid for
