    October 19, 2024 This was a packing and transporting household belongings from ************, ** to ********, **, Mr ** ***** wanted $2,250 deposit and was unable to take a credit card but would accept my personal check. When he picked up the deposit my friend ***** ******* was present when I asked Mr. ***** about any cancellation charge and he had my sign a ***** **** of lading as a receipt. My buyer for my home cancelled at the last minute and so I had to cancel the mover and requested the return of my funds and he says his company policy is that there is no refund. Since it will be several months before I will be able to list my home he said he would hold my funds to my move. I ask for something in writing and he said he would not refund my deposit. I have found that the only addresses for this moving business is ****, ******* or **********. The ******************************************* shows a ******* address and a different phone number. The bill of Lading says Camelback Moving and I called and spoke to the owner and he is not with that company. The phone number on the Lading answers and says call customer service ad doesn't give a number. This mover was recommended by *******.
