    I am reaching out to share my frustrating and costly experience with Take 5 Oil Changes ****, ******* location. On December 13, 2024, I entrusted them with a routine oil change, but their negligent service resulted in significant engine damage to my vehicle and a repair estimate of $9,500.During the service, the technician improperly installed the oil filter housing, which broke off while I was driving. This failure led to an oil spill, a complete vehicle breakdown, and severe engine damage. After the incident, I sought an independent inspection from Big Two ******. Their certified mechanic confirmed the damage was directly caused by Take 5 Oil Changes improper service.Despite these findings, the service report from Take 5 Oil Change noted irrelevant issues such as "smudging on the frame" and "sludge on the oil pan" in an apparent attempt to deflect responsibility. These claims do not absolve the company of liability for their technician's failure to perform the service correctly.I am now left with an unrepairable vehicle unless Take 5 Oil Change reimburses the $9,500 repair cost, which I have requested to be paid directly to ******* ******. As of today, my claim remains unresolved. If no action is taken soon, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action to recover the damages, along with additional costs.This situation has not only been financially draining but has also caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I hope that by bringing this issue to your attention, Take 5 Oil Change will take responsibility and ensure no other customer endures a similar experience.
