Acumen does not take care of their business and has a major communication problem when it comes to calling back their clients.Acumen exhibits *************** skills that pertain to employees getting paid. I am going on a month of not able to sign in on the *** app and acumen claims that they can not help me, that I need to contact my employer. So I did contact my employer, they did not get back to the employer until a week latersaid the employee should be able to clock in nowwell, not true. Still unable to clock in. If your employer uses Acumen as their payroll company, Tell your employer to go with a different payroll management company so you can depend on getting paid for services you provided. Next step, report Acumen to the labor work force,Acumen Fiscal Agent

We would like to apologize for the trouble this person has experienced due to the delay in payment. Acumen understands the importance of the care provided to each individual and the crucial impact any delay in payment can cause to an employee and his/her family.Unfortunately, Acumen, as the **** is not able to provide payment for any service provided without an active authorization. In this case, the authorization which was entered by **************** was entered incorrectly and was not corrected in the **************' system until August 18th. On August 18th, it was entered into our system. The ** and EE were contacted within 1 business day to inform them of the resolution and assistance in entering hours worked was offered at that time.Review fromTonza F

Hi I am an employee of the Employer who work with Acumen. My initials are ******* am the ONLY ONE WHO WORK WITH THIS ONE CLIENT so overtime is a must because I serve her needs three times a day I been working individually with her since 2007 all of a sudden this agent wants to troble her life with problems that should not be. I will be contacting D.A.D.S on monday for neglect and abuse on a client due to the company waiting til the day before time go in to say I will not be getting paid for hour worked, also for saying the client will be without service from May 22, 2022 through September because my overtime worked caused the funds to be out, no fault of mine because the government supplied the funds ACUMEN just want to pocket the money and not pay the employee for services rendered as needed. Needless to say I been with Acumen since November how do you allow overtime that many months and cause neglagence to a disabled client due to lack of communication on your part, by saying my overtime caused funds to be out when the hours given by the state not out so you know the funds are there. Also I will be filing with the labor board to see what can and will be done to ensure no other employer or employee ever go through something like this again. Two payperiods in a row my check was off by $800 to $1200 dollars and taxes were outrageous. I was told I would be accommendated on the next check, but when the check come its worse than the one before then call to see why and then get told funds out. Thats a bunch of nonsense. So now I have a CPA checking into that as well for the taxes part. By all means I believe this Company ACUMEN FISCAL AGENT IS A FRAUD. My client already begin the transfer process so I pray things move quickly for her to allow her services to be revamped and up to par for the health of her. The way ACUMEN FISCAL AGENT treat the disabled they will pay because theres a GOD WAY MORE POWERFUL & MIGHTY THAT THEIR COMPANY.Acumen Fiscal Agent

The individuals served thru FMS services by Acumen are our top priority. We would like to apologize for any confusion regarding CDS services and Employer responsibilities. We would love the opportunity to speak with the employer in this case and offer additional training on Employer Responsibilities, but the phone number provided to Acumen at the time of enrollment belongs to the attendant rather than the employer. In a CDS program, the Employer has the responsibility of managing the hours worked, hiring Attendants, and ensuring the budget meets the needs of the client. If there are no overtime hours accommodated for within the budget, the Employer is responsible for ensuring no attendant works over 40 hours or that additional attendants are hired to meet the needs of the client and provide the number of hours authorized per week. When any attendant works over 40 hours per week, overtime is paid and the available funds authorized by HHSC are depleted much faster. This is why it is very important for the Employer to be the person reviewing and approving the time for their Attendants. Acumen has paid for all services rendered by this employee, up to the weekly authorized amount until the funds were exhausted. The number of hours authorized per week is set by HHSC, not Acumen and we are unable to pay anything beyond that dollar amount.Review fromPat G

Zero stars. This company should be fined and investigated for malfeasance. The companys app does not function properly ever nor do they do anything to fix it. Acumen has twice forced my sons personal care assistant to go unpaid due to their negligence, continual lack of proper notifications and communications, and their faulty app. I am also planning on filing a complaint with the ******** ************************* They have made egregious errors on everything from IRS tax filings to notification of employee training requirements for just our case alone. No one should have to experience such poor customer service and refusal to fix known issues with their app. All of this comes with such gaslighting as never before seenits not our fault we cant do such and suchits everyone elses fault we make mistakesno one can call you back because the entire company is in a meetingcomplete and utter lies and nonsense. The saddest thing is you are supposed to be there to help those in our community with the greatest needs. ************* such a mistake using your company.Acumen Fiscal Agent
