MFF replaced my kitchen countertops in 2020, and I just discovered a problem with the initial installation. The countertop was not mounted flush with the island base cabinet and a triangular corner deflects under pressure, risking breakage. I'm not sure what their "warranty period" is, but I was told today that if we had found the installation problem "within a year or two" they would have corrected it. But after four years the defective installation is no longer their problem to deal with. They told me to go hire another contractor to fix it.

Mesa Fully Formed installed countertops for ************** in March of 2020--four years ago.  ******************** Manager, *********************** reached out to ************** today to obtain more information on this complaint. Through his conversation with **************, he was able to ascertain that the countertop had a flex in it when being leaned on in a certain spot.  ***** explained that it sounds like it just needed to have a shim placed under the affected area.  Mesa Fully Formed stands behind our workmanship which is why we have a two-year warranty on installation workmanship.  When a job is out of warranty, we can schedule a repair, but the customer would be charged for that repair, we would not have told him to have another contractor fix it.  ***** has scheduled a service technician to place a shim for ************** on May 20, 2024, between 8am-12pm. at no charge.
