They lie when they sell the solar panels, they tell you you get a check from the Government and that you have to give it to them so your payment won't go up, but that is not the case. you don't get a check from the **** you only get a small credit you can use and rest rolls over to the next year and so on. When I contact them, they play dumb saying they're not tax specialists.Their main selling point is the supposed check you get back from the government, which is lie.

We are sorry to hear that this customer did not qualify for the tax credit.  Our representatives are each trained to advise the customer to speak with a tax professional to make sure they are eligible for the tax credit.  We have a welcome call recording with the customer where they acknowledge our representatives are not tax professionals and not qualified to offer tax advice.

we were decieved by this company and made promises not kept. example we were told we would receive a tax incentive refund of $11,000 to pay toward loan and when filing for said rebate we found it is non refundable unless we have a tax liability we were never told that. our income is from Social Security only and we have no liability. If they had been honest with us we we could never have afford to do this. they also said the free roof was from the ** Green Initiative program which was not truthful. pressure sales, no call backs when trying to reach them. my husband and i are now financially strapped and may have to default on the loan due to all the misinformation.

We are extremely sorry to hear you have had a negative experience.  In regards to the tax credit:  Each our **** are trained to explain to each and every customer that they are not a licensed tax advisor and not able to offer tax advice.  We advise each homeowner to do their own research in regards to the tax credit.  In fact, it looks like your system was not installed for about 6 weeks after the paperwork was completed so there was plenty of time to complete this research and decide if it was something you wanted to pursue.  In addition, we perform a "welcome call" after each set of documents are completed, where on a recorded line we ask the customer if they are aware that our representative is not qualified to offer tax advice and that the ramifications of not receiving the tax credit.  We do this to ensure that the information presented during the sales presentation was accurate and honest.  If it would help, i can share this recording.   We have also spoken to you on the phone several times explaining this.

I want to be sensitive to the fact that you are upset and did not have the experience you were expecting when you signed up.  I would push back, however, at any notions that we mislead you or your family in any way.

Please let me know if there is anything i can do to provide more clarity.

On 2/2/24 signed contract with Valley Voltage to replace my roof. I paid $6,725.00 on 2/21/24 to Valley Voltage. The roof was out on in two days and finished on 3/6/24. On 3)14)24 got letter of roof completion. On 3/13/24 spoke to valley voltage stating I did not want white wall work. I spoke to supervisor asking for contract to be revised. He stated he would get back to me. I never heard anything back from him. On 4/8/24 spoke to **** from Valley Voltage. I told him my roof was leaking. I also told him I wanted my contract revised as no white wall work was done in my house. He said I will speak to the finance department and get back to you. He stated also that the roofing supervisor would contact me to check out the roof and repair it. Again, I have heard nothing from **** about the contract. bring revised. No one has contacted me about repairing the roof. The contract states there is a warranty on the roof but no one has looked at the roof or repaired it. I received an invoice from valley voltage stating I need to pay $6,725.00 by 4/26/24. I feel the contract is no longer valid as it has a warranty on the roof and no repairs have been done to my roof.
