I got a cold knock on my door from ***** Speaker, it was something about them working with APS to determine if my house was eligible for a power-related change to lower my bill. He took a picture of my fuse box and said that *** would be getting in touch with me within 60 days. I called *** afterword and they said they knew nothing about this.

This company trains their people to be very deceitful about the purpose of the visit. It seems that they are doing a courtesy check on behalf of ***, but in actuality they want to install solar panels on your roof that you will not own. It is very long into the conversation before this comes up. I have no problem with people selling solar panels or using people's roof for free to install their panels, as long as people know what they are doing. I just ask that this company train their sales folks to be up front and honest about the purpose of the visit and what they want to do (install solar panels that you will not own.)Power Connections

I had the pleasure of visiting the power connections local office and reviewing my solar options. The entire group was very professional and welcoming even though I could tell that customer pop ins are not a regular event! I decided to move forward with Power Connections handling the process of designing and installing a solar system for my home a few days after reviewing their proposal. I am confident in their honesty as I took the time to compare their proposal with three other solar providers in my area, all of which intended to either provide less actual solar production for more money per watt or gave me inaccurate information throughout the process. All in all, the guys at Power Connections are the reason I decided to give them my business. I have two rentals in ******* that are currently underway to receive solar systems with this same group! Thanks for a great introduction and for the education you guys gave me along the way!Power Connections

I got a robot call on my mobile phone from a valid phone number, and a guy on the line told me that I qualified for funds for solar. I said "your a robo-call. I'm on a do not call list. This is my cell phone." He said he was an advisor concerning funds available by *** in my area. He said he totally respects my concerns and began to smoothly, slimely lie to me. So you work for the govt.? "No. I'm an advisor." For a private solar company? "No. I advise you on what is available to you with solar." You don't do it for free, right? Who pays your paycheck? After stammering and stuttering he said "Power Connections". Is that a privately owned company? He said it is but he's just an advisor. So I said "So you wouldn't be averse to me choosing my own solar company which you would facilitate.?" There was a long pause and sigh. He said, "I work with them..." and I interupted him and said, "And their name is on your paycheck, right?" He then said, Sir. We're just going in circles. If you're not interested in the funds available to you I'll just have the funding removed. And....he hung up. Perhaps the sleaziest telemarketer I've ever talked to. What if I was an 87 year old widow? Think about that. Do you think for one second that scumbags like this company would care if they destroyed her financially. They need to be investigated and shut down. I felt like I had a coating of slime on me after talking to him. Needless to say but if they operate this sleazy, do you really think they will deal with you fairly? I wouldn't want one of these people anywhere on my property or around my dog, let alone my children.Power Connections

Because of the very first contact from the company *** at our door, we agreed to proceed with more which eventually, led us to installation of the solar panels. We had previously refused other companies requests and were not interested in solar. This companys approach with very polite people who were willing and able to explain WHY it is so beneficial to us is what sold us.Power Connections

I have had this company approach me in my yard, as I exit my vehicle in my driveway, and at my front door with "no soliciting" sign posted. I am very uncomfortable with them knowing information about me, besides my name. Can't APS stop them or maybe sue them. This is harassment of APS customers. **Zero stars needs to be an option.Power Connections

This company was just at my door in surprise at 6pm telling me I had to let them see my breaker box for a net billing process. They said they represented ***....just spoke with *** and that association is false. This company is lying and I reported them to ***. They are fraudulently representing themselves and should be reported to the AGs office. If I ever go solar I will never use a company with unscrupulous behavior.Power Connections

I have had at least 4 visits to my door from this company, despite being told to stop, and despite the no soliciting sign. They come to the door, do not ring the doorbell, just pound on the door. They flip through their cell phone pretending to be all official and try and imply an affiliation with APS and insist on looking at the breaker box, exactly like other reviewers. This is suspicious and unacceptable.Power Connections

A young man from Power connections came to the door and flipped through his cell phone telling me he had to check my breaker box and upgrade my meter. When I told him we were not interested 3 times and we had no soliciting signs up he got belligerent and wouldnt leave. Finally my husband came to the door and said get off our property and do not touch our breaker box or Ill call the police. He said go right ahead and tell them its dangerous!Apparently we arent the only ones with this bad experience with representatives from Power Connections. It certainly doesnt help them with sales.Power Connections
