    I booked a Croatian adventure vacation through Vanira Travel. The dates of the trip were Oct 16-24. The business promised adventure travel with room and board and most meals. I paid $4250 for this trip, not including airfare. I believe Vanira Travel/Tahiti Adventures is scamming individuals into falsely advertised trips and placing blame on their "suppliers" who are located overseas without any repercussions. As a result of negligence and services not rendered, myself and four other participants contacted the company for a partial refund. Complaints have been met with contempt, ignorance and lack of accountability. This trip was falsely and fraudulently advertised as adventure travel. The Catamaran had a severe sewage odor due to a sewage system issue which resulted in health risks to the participants and additional costs were incurred. A "surprise" excursion was to an unsanctioned garbage dump with many health risks including walking on broken glass & human feces. 4 & 5 star hotels were promised on the booking site; they were not provided. Meals that were advertised as included were not. Meals were skipped entirely without forewarning. Excursions listed in the itinerary were advertised as included in the pricing but many were out of pocket. Prices for out-of-pocket expenses were listed incorrectly or not listed at all. Participants were given no warning of several changes to the itinerary during the trip.
    The detailed itinerary was never shared as stated it would be on the booking site. Weather forecasts showed rain/wind two weeks in advance of the trip; no backup plans were established or shared with participants. Our promised local 24/7 guide was not included. This trip was planned significantly past the tourist season. This was not disclosed to participants. Complaints during the trip were not taken seriously. Severe emotional distress occurred on this trip.
