      I went to Bookmans 12/12/2024. I took stuff for trade & it was under valued but I accept the deal, which is my fault. I receive trade & noticed that they had jewelry for sale & decided to buy some as Christmas gifts. I bought a pair of earrings that were marked 925 on the earrings, & someone even handwrote “marked sterling” on the price tag. However, when I got home, I tested it with silver and gold acid tester & it turned out to be fake. I didn’t think much of it as mistakes do happen. I called the store, they said they could return it. I did return it 12/14/2024. I use that trade credit from the earrings & some of my own money to buy two rings. They both had price tags with the word sterling handwritten on them, & were both marked 925 in the rings. One was $18, & that one turned out to be fake also. I called Bookmans again to let them know that they sold me another fake sterling silver item & they didn’t seem to care. The assistant manager Sarah said that when they receive jewelry that says 925 or sterling on it they just assume it is & sell it as real without testing it. She said I could come back to the store again to return it. So I had to waste time & gas money to go back to the store to return their fraudulent silver ring on 12/16/2024. I wanted my money back but they would only use the trade vale for the one ring and not pay me back in cash. So since I had trade value only I had to buy something in store. I saw 2 more rings that were marked 925 and had sterling handwritten on the tags. I looked closely at them and they seemed to be silver, however I’m not an expert. I bought them with the trade value and even had to pay the difference with my own money. I got home tested them and of course another one was fake. I feel cheated and robbed by Bookmans. I’m not sure how they can sell their customers fake jewelry as real jewelry. I wasted my trade value, my own money, gas money, and time, and will have to do it again because they are sell fraudulent jewelry.

      They banned my mom and I for going in there on Wilmot and stone ave because they said we were rude to them, and we weren't, and they were rude to us. We were trying to trade things in and I said you didn't take much and i told my mom see they didn't take much to trade. They said I thought you weren't coming back for some reason I don't know why they said that. I then left and the guy from there store came out to the parking lot and told us we were banned. They also had a lady standing out there with politics on an abortion and i said is she allowed to stand out there petitioning abortion and they said yes. They have a attitude especially the older lady that works there. She can be rude to people and tries to run the store and she is not a manger. I think they are off base by banding us from both places and we didn't do anything to Wilmot. We tried calling corporate and we didn't get a answer back yet from a day ago. I don't know why we didn't hear back from them.
