  ************************* and standing behind their product. I have lived in my Rosewood home for over 6 years. My gas heater failed in year 6. I was told by the repairman that The drainage tube was not installed in the unit and that the plug where the tube should have been was still intact. Understand that I live in ******* and heaters do not get much use here in the desert. Because the drainage port was blocked by the factory installed plug, the water stayed in the heat exchanger and rusted much of it eventually causing it to fail. The repairman said he drained an estimated 1/2 gallon out of the heat exchanger. There was also other minor ceiling and wall water damage from leakage out of other areas of the gas heating unit. I contacted Rosewood, and they directed me to their AC / Heater contractor for the home (********************************* and AC). ******************* immediately diagnosed the problem FROM THEIR OFFICE.... a clogged drain tube. I explained that I was told that the drain port plug was still intact and the tube was not installed. They explained that since it was repaired (and out of warranty) there was no way they could verify that. so they would not come out or respond to my issue. I explained if they came out and reviewed the damage (e.g. like a crime scene investigation), they could most likely determine if the repairman's assessment is valid. I could easily document another 1500 - 2000 letters, in regarding this issue, but can't due to character limitation. Rosewood would not do anything themselves, or request that ******************* do an on-site review. I am very disappointed in both Rosewood their contractors. I was pleasant, polite, factual, etc., but both told me they were not going to do anything ore review this issue any farther. I am sure the nature of the damage would have proven the unit was incorrectly installed.0 STARS from me
