    I was using the microwave oven in my kitchen when it suddenly stopped, I troubleshooted finding 8 outlets on the 1 circuit powered by a good circuit breaker, I found the first 2 outlet on the circuit to be functioning properly, the next 5 outlets inoperative. I removed the outlets and pulled the wires and with a multimeter isolated the fault to be between the 2nd functioning outlet and the 3 inoperative one.I called Ironside after receiving recommendations on ********* told them of my problem and asked them how much do they charge, they said $170 for the 1st hour, $100 an hour after that, no mention of a $55 trip charge that they charged me, they were at my house from 848am to ****pm, under 4 hours and charged me $525 should have been $470. The election confirmed my troubleshooting as correct within about 1/2 hour and could not fine the fault and offered to pull a new jumper between the 2 outlets, but he continued to troubleshoot after I told him to pull the jumper wire, what should have been an under 2 hour job became almost double with multiple trips to his truck, ask if he could put in a GFI outlet none on his truck, so he offered to pick one up, not at $100 an hour, how could he not have a white GFI? Anyway, $70 for parts when all that was needed was 16 feet of wire, he replace 2 outlet boxs, 2 outlets, and face plates when the original were in good condition. I did all the clean up. I believe this electrician milked this job to be twice as much as it should have been. I emailed them with my complaint but Have not heard back.
