    Purchased new a/c units thru Desert Hills Heating and Cooling in October 2021. The first summer when using the cooling system for the first time I noticed the units were not cooling as they should. I called ****** and she sent techs out to address the issue. That lasted about 3-4 weeks before having trouble again. It happened again and again but they never got the units working properly for more than 30 days or so each time. They would find a leak and top off freon, or tape an air gap, etc... Replaced a coil under warranty and another time they replaced wrong sized plenums from their original install. This carried through to the next summer with the new ac units failing every ***** days with a supposed solution each time. The techs were called at least 10x to the home over the first two ******* but they never got the units working properly for longer than 30+/- days. Each summer, every 3-4 weeks I listen to my units run all day and never shut off, I have utility bills up near $800 per month so that when it started this summer the same way again after supposedly replacing a bad coil, we agreed to get a second opinion. I have had 3 second opinions and they all confirm both units have not been installed properly, both units are not performing properly, downstairs unit is overcharged, has ductwork leaking air at the unit, which is causing the outdoor motor to run hot and the compressor to overamp, pinched the return line, installed improperly making the unit bow. The upstairs unit is 2-3 lbs low on freon after replacing the supposed defective coil 10/2023, has air gaps at the unit, not hung properly, high temp at motor, overflow pan laying on platform and offline to prevent water damage and not installed per manufacturer specs. I AM STILL UNDER LABOR AND MANUFACTURER WARRANTY AND CANNOT GET ****** TO RETURN MY CALLS. I am exhausted and discouraged. Worst experience ever! I have video/photos and inspection documentation of everything.
