      Specifically ************************ is a terrible counselor. Run- don't walk away from this woman. On August 17th 2023, I got a facetime call from my daughter while she was in ******'s office. ****** started questioning me as to why I wouldn't allow my now 20 yr old daughter go out of state with her abusive boyfriend. ****** then began to state "she's an adult" after every reason I gave. I finally became so frustrated with ****** that I said- "why don't you stop telling me how to parent and focus on what we hired you to do which was grief counseling, work on her self-esteem and to be less codependent to which ****** responded - "I think you're both codependent". My husband then got them on FaceTime where ****** never showed her face. He tried to explain why we have issue with my daughter going out of state with her emotional and verbally abusive boyfriend and that we don't agree with that his "parents" have bought and offered my daughter alcohol and marijuana. ****** kept interrupting him and then responded by saying that marijuana legal. He then said very calmly and said, "well I can tell you what isn't legal - it's illegal to offer a minor drugs and alcohol." ****** then continued to teach us how to parent by saying that my daughter is now an adult and we should let he be an adult and can she speak without being interrupted. My husband said sure and then she belittled him by saying "Do you consider yourself an adult?" To which he said - "Oh I don't know why you're asking condescending questions." She then said, I didn't interrupt you and then my husband said "no- you were making snide comments about how I should treat my daughter like an adult and that drugs were legal, but we should just ignore that you did that while I was speaking?" ****** got really upset and said "I can't with this guy" and hung up my daughters phone. Needless to say, we think it was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional for ****** to have conducted herself in this manner.

      My husband and I started going here for counseling. Our insurance verified with their office our first 5 hours were free. Our benefits restart January 1st. We had 2 appts in 2022 and were seen 3 times in 2023. They made us pay $92.00 for the first 2 appts. Then I confirmed myself with insurance that we get 5 free hours starting in Jan. So they charged us fraudently. I spoke with ******* in their billing department and she said they rechecked insurance in January but just a review. They didn't go into the actual website to confirm what our full benefits were. So I asked for our money to be refunded and she refused. She said she had to wait till our claims went through. The insurance verified with her they would be paid at 100%. I contacted the owner ******* and she was going to check into it. We'll a month later we have had no communication from the office and no refund. I have all the documentation from my insurance at what our benefits are and claim details. They haven't even filed claims for 2 of our 3 visits. The insurance confirmed it was fraudulent to charge us and then hold our money that we were due. I finally messaged ******* my disconcern for the lack of communication and time that had lapsed. She sent a message back saying they would refund but didn't really feel they should since they hadn't been paid for all their claims. So sad that they have bad business practices. Their billing office should be properly verifying people's benefits before charging them. There was also another gentleman that complained of the same thing one day when I was there for an appointment. They tried to charge him roughly $140. He said his wife's copay is $45 and they have the same insurance. The front office girl looked it up and verified it was only to be $45 but still gave him an attitude for not paying the higher amount I have read their reviews and they have many complaints for the same billing issues. It's about the money not providing quality care.
